Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy Addicts discussion

Anyone read these books. I read the first one and although its not a top book in my whole life kind of read it was interesting and I liked the characters enough to continue. I think the next books in the series will be better now that the author has more experience and the initial entrance into the world is done with.

My main issue with the first book was the random parts that are in the male portags voice and the fact that since about 15 precent I already knew the "secrets" which made the majority of the book read slower as I waited for the characters to figure it out.
