message 5: by Bec (new)

Bec (_becandbooks) Thanks everyone! Nothing like a good start on reading for the new year. And all the to read books are sitting on my shelf from the last book fest I went to. Want to get through them all before the next one in June.

Bec (_becandbooks) Feeling pretty accomplished at my progress so far. Lots of free time at the moment so I'm allowing myself to indulge in reading.

Also proud that I have managed to finish off two series! I am normally hopeless and will start but not finish - I am dedicated to finishing off the graphic books Saga which I am LOVING. Also, thinking I may come back to the Once series - I think I have two left and they are available as audio from my library.

A few of the books to read on my shelf are being looked over because they are larger in size. I have started LOTR but am not dedicating myself to the entire trilogy at this time (I have a copy with all three as a single book).

I have also removed Hunter's Run from the list - something that I owned and started. I didn't mind it honestly but never really struck my fancy to pick it up again so I donated my copy to a local bookstore.

Cassandra | 5832 comments Great job, Becca! I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying your reading time. :)

message 8: by Bec (new)

Bec (_becandbooks) I either have too much time on my hands or am just allowing myself to self-indulge in reading more this year. Already surpassed my goal of 40 books for the year!

And super proud that I am keeping up with my series' as well. I tend to forget about them but so far I have completed/up to date with 6 series started this year. About to finish off a 7th. Only given up on 1 and only had 1 take a backseat for a while.

Go me.
