Karen L. Hi everyone,

Here's a thread for us to post about our summer reading. Tell us about any Christian or Anglican books you may be reading now. Also let's post ideas for a group summer read.

I'm reading "The Brothers Karamazov," and loving it.

Hope to hear from folks.

God Bless,
Karen L

Julie Golding Page (snowgirl) | 8 comments I'm reading a couple of non-fiction books: Episcopal Barbara Brown Taylor's "The Preaching Life" (great chapters on calling, vocation & imagination that any Christian will appreciate), and the book I mentioned to MrsDarcy, Mark Galli's "Beyond Smells and Bells."

But my first love is fiction...always on the lookout for a new clerical mystery, especially one featuring a female Anglican/Episcopal priest. :-) A Kate Charles mystery of this sort is waiting in the wings...

Julie Golding Page (snowgirl) | 8 comments This summer, I re-read Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." I thought it was so fantastic that it prompted me to write an article about it for our diocesan newspaper and website. I've added this article to "my writings" if anyone would like to check it out. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of this book, too!
