I'm reading a couple of non-fiction books: Episcopal Barbara Brown Taylor's "The Preaching Life" (great chapters on calling, vocation & imagination that any Christian will appreciate), and the book I mentioned to MrsDarcy, Mark Galli's "Beyond Smells and Bells."

But my first love is fiction...always on the lookout for a new clerical mystery, especially one featuring a female Anglican/Episcopal priest. :-) A Kate Charles mystery of this sort is waiting in the wings...

This summer, I re-read Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." I thought it was so fantastic that it prompted me to write an article about it for our diocesan newspaper and website. I've added this article to "my writings" if anyone would like to check it out. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of this book, too!
