Reading this for Week 4 - I discovered Liane Moriarty in 2015.

I read three of Liane's books last year and am looking forward to reading more.

I'll read this one for the W/H category.

I really enjoyed Big Little so I wanted to read another of her books for the challenge. As this one was already on my TBR because I was interested in the subject, it was an easy choice!

This was one of my absolute favorite reads last year! I really hope you both enjoy it as much as I did! :)

I am planning to read this for my "A book with one of the five W’s" category. I really liked Big Little Lies last year and I would like to read something else by this author :)

I'm reading this for Week 20, a "book with a first name in the title." I really liked Big Little Lies so I'm looking forward to this one too.

I will be reading this book for week 14 A book with one of the five W's. Our book club is reading this for our February book.

Finished it. I didn't like it as much as Big Little Lies and found the characterization more banal and less interesting. The school stuff and the kids annoyed be, which is funny because they were strong points in Big!

Otherwise, the writing was as smooth, the story telling was well done (even if not fully interesting) and it was a "giving me feelings" book as I was worried or sad at some points. I liked Elizabeth and how her difficulties seemed real, and young Nick and Alice's relationship which was cute and full of complicity.

I'll continue to read one book by the author per year, they are entertaining, quickly read and different from what I usually read, so they are welcome once in a while :)

I gave it 3 stars. It's not my usual genre and I found the main character really annoying.

I have just started and although I am enjoying it, I'd wish things could happen faster. They are taking long to present the situation.

I was wrong, they are taking long just to make me feel the same agony that Alice must be feeling :-(

Yes, the author is using a mystery tone, so you have to discover things touch by touch and it can be a little long!

I finished and really enjoyed it! (view spoiler)[ Almost at the end I was not so happy, because it looked like at the end nothing really had happened nor changed, but the epilogue made my day, even when it was maybe too fairytale ending, I just loved it. I couldn't help it, I love happy endings! :) (hide spoiler)]

Just finished for week 17. Haven't read one of her stories that I haven't liked yet!
Definitely 4-5 stars and would recommend!

I read this for my 2017 Topic Discard Challenge, an "illuminated" book. I always cringe whenever I pick up a "chick-lit." book because I cannot deal with the set formula of the genre. However, Moriarty has always impressed me with her books, so I find myself feeling a little bot of hope for something more, when I come across one of hers. So far, she hasn't let me down, and What Alice Forgot was no exception. This book had me hooked from the start and I just had to know how everything turned out. I found myself holding my breath at the end, and was very delighted for the outcome.

I read this for the 2019 challenge prompt #2 - A book with one of the 5W's in the title.

I was surprised at how much I liked it. I was expecting to like it but not as much as I did. It made you think of your life now and what would it have been like if you were on the same path as you were 10 years ago. It made you evaluate where you are at now and if your 10 year younger self would have approved of the path that you are on. I wasn't expecting the introspection it gave me of my own life.
