New members, please introduce yourself here, and include some philosophers or field(s) of philosophy that interests you.

The first philosophy I ever read dealt with ethics and questions of truth (Plato, Nietzsche, and so on). Now, I would like to explore more analytic philosophy in the 20th century, and metaphysics in the 19th and 20th centuries (such as Heidegger).

Claudia Casser | 3 comments New to all this, I just saw there were two other philosophy discussion groups with many members and recent posts. Why did you start this new one? Is there something you want to do here that they don't do?

Claudia Casser | 3 comments My post seems to have disappeared.

Please advise what you would like to do differently here than what is found in the two large philosophy fora?

I'm particularly interested in the intersection of neuroscience and cognitive psychology with issues of identity and value.

Sorry for the late reply! But, I figured this could provide another outlet for discussing philosophy; plus, some personal philosophical interests aren't always on a current reading list in other philosophy groups, and I would like to manage a discussion group.
