Lauren Weisberger and I were both born in 1977. Took a while to choose this one, and I really enjoyed it! I have never seen the movie either.

I was considering The Devil Wears Prada since I have seen the movie but not read the book otherwise I am likely going to read one of John Green's books since I have a couple on my TBR list and he was also born in 1977.
I did see that John Green was born in 1977 too. Although I think I'm the only person in the world who did not like The Fault in our Stars.
and I must be one of the only people in the world who still haven't read that book (probably because I know the premise and thinking it would depress me to read I keep putting it off) but I have it on my TBR along with Paper Towns which I have heard is slightly lighter.
Robin wrote: "and I must be one of the only people in the world who still haven't read that book (probably because I know the premise and thinking it would depress me to read I keep putting it off) but I have it..."Well I have not read it, so I just put in on my to-read list.
Jonathan Safran Foer was also born in 1977. I've never read anything by him, but Everything Is Illuminated and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close have both been recommended to me by trustworthy people. I might try Eating Animals, though.
