Year-long NaNo discussion

1/21/16: I did two word wars today, which helped me reach a total of 5,257 words for the day! My WIP is now 22,280 words!

Thanks, guys! I'm super happy that I can get back into my writing habits after nursing school. If you're a writer and want to be a nurse, take it from a NURSE that just did it (yes, the state of Texas officially recognizes me as a nurse), it will be hard to not write, but worth it in the end (if you like nursing). SO GLAD TO BE BACK DOING MY FAVORITE THING, THOUGH!

So happy for you, finishing nursing school! :) And now (well, soon anyway) we get Book Three!!!! :D Although I still haven't read WotB... I will soon though, I promise!

I wish I could go through TWS and rewrite it. I was so "raw" when I wrote and published it.
How do you think I should reveal the title? Should I make a fake cover? Hmm, I'm considering that one. Do you have other ideas?

Wrote only 790 words today, and that was only made possible by a Word War with C.B.! I'm very thankful for the word wars, needless to say.
I don't think I'll get any words in tomorrow, sadly; my schedule is pretty packed.
Total word count of WIP as of today: 23,075

Nice job, Kaitlyn!!! But I can't take credit... the word war was with Alyssa. ;) You both did great!

OH WHOOPS, I actually was thinking Alyssa! I was even thinking about her picture. Don't know why I wrote C.B.! Lol! Sorry! :)

That's awesome, Kait! How many words do you think Book Three will be, total?

Oooh, good question, Lena! Honestly, I am terrible at estimating a WIP's total word count once complete. Trust me. I mean, I thought WORLD OF THE BEASTS was going to be only 80k - 90k at most... It ended up being 165k, and then I decided I had to weed A BUNCH OF STUFF out. I took whole chapters in other character's perspectives out that weren't relevant; they were just new and interesting. I was able to cut it down to the 140k it now is. So, no, I can't estimate very well.... So I'll give a wider range for Book Three than I gave WOTB... 80k - 170k. Yeah. I did just do that.

Lol!!! I was just wondering if you had any idea when it might be finished ;D

Oh, well that's a completely different question! I'm hoping it will be done by summer 2017. That's including all the editing and preparing for its release estimated in.

I can't believe I did that today.
I can't believe it.
Seriously.... I don't trust my math....
But, the total WIP's word count now is 30,167! Yay! I'm a little over a third of the way to my goal of 90,000 words!

Still don't trust my math, BUT WHO CARES RIGHT NOW!? I passed the 30k mark!

Hey, guys! I know I have been inactive for a couple of months :(

The "yay me" news: I am working as a Cardiac Nurse at a hospital! It's intense, but the feeling you get when you've helped someone (especially when you've saved their life) is amazing!

Unfortunately, this has demotivated me from writing and I haven't written ANYTHING. (Seriously, nothing). I'm trying to motivate myself to pick writing my third book "The Warlock's Awakening" back up again, so--of course--I immediately came here. <3
