Have you ever experienced sleep paralysis? If so, have you sensed a dark presence in the room with you? I'm creating this thread for those of us who have had these experiences. I hope we can offer support, advice, and a safe space to share experiences.

I had one incident when I was a child, that had me whimpering outside my parents bedroom door, when I could finally move (eventually I went back to bed). I didn't sense any presences then but since connecting to my present partner, I've had a plethora of nighttime visitors, including a daylight one that she saw behind me and that a few years later I glimpsed as I switched off the bedroom light.

Did you get any impression as to the intentions of these visitors?

No, it was more like they were checking in to say hi in most cases
