Would you rather Not be able to speak, or not be able to hear

Not be able to speak, because there's simple ways around not being able to speak, but there's no simple ways around not being able to hear. If I can't speak, maybe it'll mean that I would need to write to communicate, which means that I will have amazing writing skills, and that doesn't seem to be bad at all.
