Okay so I was kind of thinking something like this would happen. But I still was hoping that it wouldn't. Like now that it's over I kind of want to change everything I said about Logan. That is the power of a book like this you see that last thing he did, protecting his family and giving his life to save them, and it makes his boathouse moment seem perfectly rational.

I'm glad Anika found herself. She figured out what she wanted, she loved Logan and was going to tell him first thing. I wish she had called at 4:15am. I wish she had figured all of this out sooner. That she figured out how stupid it was to care about what others think over what makes you happy. But she didn't. It was too late. And that gut punches you.

I love her speech. I love that she told the truth about who he was. Not someone everyone like, someone no one really wanted around despite how awesome he was and how BS it was for everyone, especially Becky, to play like they were his BFF. I've had people I went to school with pass away, I've had co-workers pass away, and I've been looked at as 'cold' because I wasn't crying my eyes our and heart broken over it when I didn't know them. I was sad that they were taken from those who loved them but I'm also not going to fake some deep connection just to feel like part of it. So I'm glad she set things straight and told everyone how awesome he was with the art and the poem and all of it.

Also much smaller side note, I'm glad Tiffany got to her grandma's and it was hilarious giving the money back to the boss in the spy mission :) Also the moment of you can't drug people Anika...lol Okay had to end on a happy note because I want to cry after finishing this and I have to fight it because I'm at work and I'll never hear the end of it!

I knew it! I just knew something like this would happen. What's even sadder is that it seems this was based on real events. I grew to really like Logan throughout the story and while I thought he needed some proper professional help I think he would have ended up a great guy not someone to be scared of.

I loved the speech Anika gave and how things wrapped up, even thought I really wish we didn't lose Logan.
