((A continuation of Eveningshadow and Ryde's encounter))Eveningshadow looked up eagerly, "Clan life is great! We all work together, splitting up duties and taking care of the elders and kits. Not a day goes by that's not filled with exciting activities." She was so happy that Ryde wanted to talk about living in a clan. Wouldn't it be great if Ryde joined ThunderClan! Eveningshadow thought. She pushed back those thoughts and instead asked, "What is it like to live outside the clans, on your own?"
"It's amazing. You get to hunt when you want, their are not rules, their are no boundary's or whatever. You can be free." Ryde said. "You can stand for yourself and fight for you own battles." She sighed, smiling. "Although with other cats you can get into fights easily."
"That's true..." Eveningshadow wondered if she would like the life of a loner. "You don't have any rules at all? None?" She liked the sound of that. What are you doing? You are a clan cat and you're staying a clan cat! Eveningshadow shook her head as if to clear it. "I know this sounds crazy, but I kinda like your company." She smiled at Ryde.
"Hah." Ryde looked a little bit alert for a second before calming down. "A lot of cats say that before they try attack, but thanks for the complement. I can say the same about being around you! By the way, what is your name?" She asked.
"Oh I'm sorry! Where are my manners? I'm Eveningshadow of ThunderClan. By the way, I have no plans for attack so you don't need to worry." She sat down, hoping to perhaps look less intimidating that way. Not that I'm intimidating anyway, I'm so small compared to her. "And what is yours?" She asked politely.
"Ryde." She said happily. "So...If I wanted to join a ThunderClan...What would I have to do?" She asked, a smirk crawling onto her face.
Is she planning something? I don't like that look. Eveningshadow shook off the thought. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance Ryde. To join I would have to take you to the leader of ThunderClan. She would most likely ask you a few questions and then you'd be either accepted or thrown out." She looked curiously at Ryde, "Are you considering joining my clan?"
"Well. You could say that, although the fact that I have friends at my home has kind of put me down from joining, and the fact that I had a fight with one of the leaders." Ryde said, sitting down.
"Which one would that be?" She asked, genuinely concerned. "Our leaders usually try not to pick fights unless the intruder has come back multiple times. Not saying you're an intruder, but you are trespassing." Eveningshadow said with a sheepish grin.
"Dark fur?" I don't know and can't remember, it was all kind of a haze." She said, trying to think while looking down on the older she-cat. Shaking her head, she again spoke, "I don't know, but if your leader has dark fur then they won't be too happy to see me after what I did." She smirked. Ryde can remember when she told some kittens about how she fought a forest clan leader and won.

Ryde can remember when she told some kittens about how she fought a forest clan leader and won. Although now she had a scar...
"That wouldn't be Petalstar. She's got a sandy-colored pelt. Anyway she's real forgiving even if it was her." Eveningshadow looked Ryde straight in the eye. "What did you do anyway? You seem like a pretty nice cat to me." Eveningshadow hoped to StarClan it wasn't anything that would be beyond forgiveness.
"Oh. Trespassing and...Pray stealing. Fought and won, just." She said. "A-Anyway. I actually want to join. But, I mean, what would be in it for me? Is clan life just bidding by others rules and that code thing you have?"
"Pretty much. The Warrior Code is what holds the clans together and we all defend it with our lives. Occasionally there's a battle, not often though. You would probably shadow a warrior for a little bit, just to learn our ways. Then we would give you a ceremony, declaring you a full warrior of ThunderClan. You could even take a new name if you liked. You could pick it or have our leader communicate with StarClan and give you one that way. The more you know coming into the clan, the better." Eveningshadow looked at Ryde. "As for what's in it for you, you get a life with cats who care for you. Once a cat joins the clan, everyone will fight to the death for them. It may not sound like much, but it means a lot." She looked up from where she had been staring at her paws. "I hope your not disappointed."
Ryde didn't answer for a moment or two. Then she looked back at Eveningshadow. "Mind if I join? I know I'm leaving a life behind where I am, but...I would like to start again."
Eveningshadow's heart practically exploded. "I'd love you to! We will have to paya visit to Petalstar and see what she says but I don't think you'll have a problem." She looked excitedly at Ryde, "Let's go!!" Eveningshadow raced off through the woods towards camp.
"Hey! Wow, wait!" Ryde said, taken by surprise but in no time had she caught up with Eveningshadow and was following her. The sent of ThunderClan filled her nose.
((So Sheyanne has Petalstar. I don't know if you want to message her or something but we can't do that role play til she's on))"Follow me!" Eveningshadow called over her shoulder as she raced on.
((We would like you to RP Petalstar in camp. Ryde is considering join the clan and Eveningshadow has been talking and has led her to the camp to see Petalstar.))
