I don't know about y'all but I find that looking up reviews and ratings on books have limited the amount of books i've read or plan on reading. As I was browsing around the bookstore I thought how am I going to choose my next read then .... BAM! IT hit me. Roulette.
1) Whether it be your own bookshelf, the bookstore, the library just close your eyes. 2) Point at any direction. 3) Wherever your finger lands. That is your new read. 4) You CANNOT search any details about this book. Goodreads, booktube, reviews, ratings - nothing.
I personally think this is a great way to find underrated books. Because there are A LOT of them out there and we haven't discovered them yet.
So this discussion board was created to talk about your Roulette Read. I personally don't know if I were to create this on booktube as a tag or a challenge. But if you do this and want to spread the word on any social media, please use the hashtag #rouletteread <3 But in general, I thought this was just a great way to discover more amazing reads out there.
