- I could no sooner choose a favourite star in the heavens -Or maybe I could, but it's a tough one. At the moment I would actully have to say Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. And I have just re-read it for the umpht time. She sure knew how to write polite insults.
My all time favorite book is probably Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I have read it several times and will most likely read it again this year sometime. My favorite series is A Discovery of Witches series by Deborah Harkness. Odds are good that one will come up again in the next year or so.
Very hard to choose - like asking me to pick my favourite child. Probably 'A Walk in the Woods' by Bill Bryson. I'm hoping to reread it before I watch the movie. Though I've just read Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer and that was brilliant, so I'll put that in my top ten this month at least.
Stephen King's The Stand- The Complete and Uncut Edition. With a trio of early Grisham nipping at its heels- A Time to Kill, The Rainmaker, and Runaway Jury. I'll most likely read two of the four this year.
C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia have been my favorite for most of my life, and yes—I'll be re-reading them this year as I do every year.
Okay, that's a really hard question! :p I simply can't just choose one.TALES OF GOLDSTONE WOOD by Anne Elisabeth Stengl; ILYON CHRONICLES by Jaye L. Knight; and THE BLADES OF ACKTAR by Tricia Mingerink for favorite fantasy series.
Courting Morrow Little by Laura Frantz for favorite historical novel.
I would love to re-read all of them this year!!! ^_^ But we'll see if I find the time.

All time favorite... really difficult. While I do enjoy Peter Falk's reading of "The Princess Bride" by S Morgenstern (he really brought it to life) I read some things by Patrick McManus years ago I really enjoyed! "They Shoot Canoes, Don't They?" comes to mind.
My all time favorite stand alone, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett and Niel Gaiman; and I re-read it every year.
What ever book I'm reading at the time is my favourite. Having said that, anything written by Anne Rice or Anne McCaffrey and I'm in reading heaven :)
My all time favorite book is Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck. Even have a first edition copy. A more recent favorite book is the True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi. Read that as a youth and it made a significant impact on my life. I've read it like five times.Probably won't re-read them this year since I'm focusing on new material this year. :)

My answer: Brent Weeks's Night Angel trilogy is right up there at the top for me right now.
