For me, I think I prefer third person. I love multiple POV's. Fantasy is definitely my favourite genre, I also especially like medieval. The plot has to be thick, suspenseful and action packed, the characters must be deep, engaging and loveable, the writing style must be good and world building has to be good too. That makes up perfect books for me.
I agree, Lexie. Definitely 3rd person and a fantasy or romance book. On fantasy there has to be romance that doesn't shadow the whole plot with lots and lots of actions and battles. There obviously has to be an antagonist in fantasy books ALWAYS. In romance you can go overboard on the cheesiness which I love.
I agree with you both!Except for cheesy romance. It depends on the kind of cheese. Sometimes it can annoy me.
But I need books to have some kind of love in them. Not overshadowing the plot and action but I like having people to cheer for (romantically) :)
I agree with Yelena, I do want romance, but more action and adventure than cheesy romantic chapters. I don't mind the mutliple POVS, but I do get confused by them, so I prefer to have one character narrating. I love twists in books also and some mystery.
A book doesn't HAVE to have romance for me but of course I like it as well, as long as it's not the main focus.
I think a really awkward, slow-burning, pulse quickening romance is amazing. I loved the "fling" Celaena and Dorian had in TOG.
