Would the movie version of 'The Help' leave out some parts of the book because it is too explicit?

Emily Santhosh | 6 comments I don't think so because that's what makes the book interesting and real, and gives you an insight of what life was like for colored people back then.

MaryKate D. | 6 comments I don't think the movie should leave out major parts of "The Help", even if they are a little explicit. A movie about a historical time period that impacted so many should definitely be true to what happened. It's important to understand what really happened during this period of time.

Diana | 3 comments I don't think the movie version of The Help should leave anything out, because most of what happened in the story was true. But I think they might because of different people's views.

Ashley Adams | 2 comments I do not think that the movie version of the Help should leave anything out, because all those small details in the book are what make the story and argument. Those details give the story life and meaning, and help the readers understand the difficulties and hardships that the characters faced.
