I don't think I have listened to him before. I look forward to checking him out.

I've listened to him in a couple of series, but Pamela Clare's I-Team series is my favorite. I haven't listened to the Highlander one by Clare.

Becky | 170 comments My favorite historical narrated by Kaleo is Defiant and my favorite contemporary is Breaking Point (both written by Pamela Clare). I love his male voices and narration, but sometimes his choices for the female character voices miss the mark for me (ie Holly in Seduction Game).

Dee (austhokie) | 1380 comments he's the only reason i stuck with clare's i-team series - I wasn't a fan, although everyone raves about them

Becky | 170 comments I really liked Unlawful Contact (#3) through Skin Deep (#5.5). The last two have not been as good imo. I feel like Kaleo's best (and more challenging) work is with PC's MacKinnon Rangers historicals and I definitely recommend them. Defiant is my favorite, but Surrender is a close second.

I always wondered should I try the audio because I wasn't a fan of reading the books. well at least the one or two that I had read in that series.

If the popping out a baby trope annoys you, do *not* read (or listen to) the novella Soul Deep! I hated the ending of that book.

The heroine of book 2 was super annoying.

I think the series has moved in real time (10 years have passed between the publications of books 1-7) which means that by the time the latest book comes along, the couples in the earlier books have been married for 2-10 years, which accounts for all those babies. I know it seems over the top but it's the way of life (not that isn't annoying in books, LOL!). I think that with a few exceptions, most of my friends got pregnant for the first time in the 2nd-3rd year of marriage.
