Queen Amber likes to see contestants fight in her arena. Dragons do die

Queen Amber slowly landed, she was interested in watching a Nightwing and Skywing fight.

Hawk's eyes swept over the crowd of dragons that had gathered for the fight. There were clips on his wings, making it hard to stretch out his large wings. His hateful eyes rested on Queen Amber, If I ever get my talons on you! his eyes narrowed at the Nightwing Moon. Hawk was one of Amber's most best fighters, This Nightwing will be easy!

A Skywing rang a bell, "I give you Moon of the Nightwings!" The Skywing had no idea that Moon's name was actually Moonwatcher. "And Hawk of the Skywings! Hawk has tried to kill our beautiful queen!" there was an uproar of anger. "Don't you think he deserves to have some pain?!"

Queen Amber smiled at Moon, "This is Hawk" she gestured to the Skywing she was fighting. "He'll be easy to defeat" she snorted

"Do what you wish" Queen Amber sat on her throne with rubies carved into it.

Hawk's tail lashed around, "Spare me the work Nightwing, I can kill you in a heartbeat" he had no idea that Moon was a mind reader.

"Fight!" A Skywing screeched.

In an instant, Hawk was upon Moon, tearing into her scales quickly. His wings surrounded her so all she could see was his wing and all she could feel was pain

Hawk felt like his blood was boiling. He screeched in pain and bit into her scales, he ripped a scale away before ripping flesh from a spot near her spine. "Your gonna pay for this!" Hawk's eyes glittered with hate. His claws on the tip of his wing tore into her scales near her eyes. Hawk thought that she was crying because of the tear shaped scale and paused. He snaked away

Everything was quiet until Hawk made a circle of fire around himself

Queen Amber was interested in this move, only some Mudwings could resist fire, one wrong move and Hawk would catch on fire quickly

Hawk's tail swayed, he could see that Moon seemed lost in space for a while. "What are you doing?" He dodged a small ember that went flying. As the fire burned, embers flicked everywhere, Hawk noticed that an ember had landed on Moon's tail, causing her to snap out of her fantasy and almost catching her tail on fire

Something was fishy about this, he tried his best to stay away but still in the fire circle. Hawk gently blew on the fire, making the fire roar towards Moon if she ever came too close. He roared, randomly jumping out of the fire and gripping Moon's neck in his massive jaws. Hawk slightly wondered if he could get out of this without having to kill this Nightwing. He slunk away, releasing Moon. Many Skywings booed, they wanted major violence not a coward

Hawk roared, his wings stung. He flapped his wings in pain, so fast that the metal clips slowly began to tear off. The clips made a huge whole in his wing. Seeing his wing he screamed, Just kill me now! he thought. Hawk slowly put his claws to his throat, scraping at his own throat. He charged at Moon, ripping into her wings as she had done to him.

Hawk wasn't able to make any rips in Moons wing, in an instant Queen Amber was on him, slitting his throat with a beautiful and silent swipe.

Queen Amber tossed Hawk's body aside. "That was interesting" she hissed, there was no displeasure in her tone. "You did well, please, come and fight sometime soon!"

Olympus watched from above, his wings beating the air to hover in place. This NightWing...something was curiously familiar about her.

"Well darling, I didn't want him to rip your wing" Queen Amber's tail swayed behind her. "I can bring out more prisoners if you'd like, besides, you've proved to me that you are very powerful" she out her talons on her shoulders and turned Moon so Moon could look right in her face. "You might even make a fine warrior in my army, of course, if you wanted" She's too young hissed a voice in her head. Shut up she seemed to fire back. "That is, if you're up to the challenge"

Olympus landed beside his mother, Queen Amber, silently. He folded his wings and cocked his head, examining the exchange with dark eyes

Queen Amber glanced at Olympus, "Hello dear" the word dear made her think about how hungry she was. "Go fetch me a deer" she ordered her servant Skywing. Amber hated the silence but she had to be patient. Queen Amber thought about how depressed Breeze would be of Hawk's death. I think and slightly hope she was in the front row. That'll show her to not try to rebel the Queen knew that soon Breeze would rebel, her father's death would be so meaningful to her, she might get a rebellion to form.

Olympus glanced down at Hawk with a mournful expression on his snout. "Did you have to kill him?" he said, wishing that Breeze wouldn't have to know.

Queen Amber felt like she could read his mind, "Breeze will be fine!" her tail swayed behind her, she smiled, revealing her teeth. "Besides, the fight was taking too long, and Hawk deserved to die" Amber came up with a good reason. "If Hawk had lived, he'd go after me again and then soon after the royal family" she hissed at the thought of Hawk becoming king, "And he'd make Breeze his little Princess and you'd be slaughtered" she unfolded her wings, glancing around.

Breeze had overheard and hissed to herself, resisting the urge to attack. She bowed her head and prepared to leave. Breeze knew that someday when she was older the Queen would have no use for her but to put her in the arena. She unfolded her small wings and took off, perhaps she could meet up with Olympus later.

The Queen smiled as she watched Breeze fly away with great speed. If she didn't attack me when I said his name, perhaps Breeze would be more useful on missions...

Olympus shrugged "I doubt that he would slaughter me." He looked down at the sands, which were still stained with blood. "I mean, it's not like I'm allowed to fight in the arena. Because of, you know, my disability" he spat out the word like it was poison. "I'm going to talk to Breeze." He spread his wings and launched into flight after her

Queen Amber was about to object to the the arena and deformity but Olympus was already flying away. "Your lucky you don't have to be Queen Moon" she sighed. "Sometimes I wish that sons were allowed to fight for the throne" Queen Amber didn't say anything further, changing the way of ruling the kingdom would be despicable, and would probably make the other tribes turn on her.

Breeze could hear Olympus's wing eats behind her, she began to slow down, trying to replace her frown with a smile. She glanced around for a place to land, darting at an edge of a cliff. Breeze dug her talons into the side of the cliff's edge. "Slow poke" she teased as Olympus landed

((Oh, is you ever want to switch where Breeze and Olympus are, just ask or have Olympus suggest it XDD))

Olympus was panting as he landed beside her, his talons sending rocks down the cliff face. "I need to exercise more, rather than following Mother around." he said, gasping. "Are you okay?"

Breeze looked towards the distance, "Ya, I'm fine" she tucked her wings in. "Have you ever wondered why we're on this world?" She felt like Olympus would say 'because we exist'. Breeze smiled at him, "Perhaps you should start exploring with me!"

"Why we're ON this world or why we're IN this world? I mean, we exist...duh." he winked at her. "Exploring would be a nice change of scene. Less lectures about deformities and more current-riding."

"They aren't deformities" Breeze rolled her eyes, "They make you special" she brushed his wing with hers. "Of course we're on this world because we exist" she liked his good humor, it's one of the reasons she liked him. Breeze played with her little trinket that Hawk had gave her, tightening the bracelet. "We could journey as far as the Icewing Kingdom!" She twirled around until she got dizzy and fell on the ground with an oof. Breeze smiled, putting her talons at her side, looking up at the sky. Her eyes glittered with adventure, "I doubt you'd keep up with me" she teased. "I'd end up carrying you!"

Olympus fluttered his wings "That's probably true." he said matter-of-factly, curling up beside her. "You've always been the fastest flier." He let the sun warm his face. "What are you going to do about Mother?"

"She'll probably be busy playing with her new toy!" Breeze smiled, "It's because I'm smaller" she shrugged. "Amber probably wouldn't even notice!" When she was away from Queen Amber, she liked to call her Amber. "Besides, are you up to the challenge?" Breeze pounced around Olympus, soon making a circle of foot/talonprints around him

Olympus fit his talons into her prints and copied her steps. Soon they were in a bizarre game of Follow the Leader. "Of course I am! Mother probably won't notice me or you, and you know, we deserve some off time."

Breeze nodded in agreement, "we could go search for the lost Kingdom of Nightwing!" she tried to make her talons look like she was dancing so Olympus would do the same. "We could see the slightly destroyed Summer Palace!!!!" Breeze giggled. "What are we waiting for?"

Olympus tried to copy her without success. Giving up he flung his wings out to catch the breeze. "Oooh, sightseeing." he winked and poked her. "Now?"

Breeze giggled at the sight of Olympus trying to match the talon prints. She batted his talon away gently after he poked her. "Not sightseeing! Adventure" Breeze took off into the air, doing a few loopy loops, and beckoning him to fly. "Follow me!" Breeze had to yell to be heard, the wind seemed to try to fight her

Olympus launched himself into the air after her, rolling off of the wind currents in order to avoid being flipped. "Where to first?" he asked curiously, catching up to her

Breeze kept a slow pace so Olympus could catch up. "Obviously, we'd go stir some trouble" she rolled her eyes. She had heard of Jade Mountain opening. "There's a new academy around here, not far from the kingdom. We could go there unless you have a better place"

Olympus stopped "I'm supposed to be there, but I came home for the holidays." he said sheepishly. " I think the holidays are over."

Breeze smiled, "Well, the academy might having a visiting guest of honor!!!" she twirled, and like a bullet she started towards the academy. "Is the mountain an academy or is the academy like in the mountain?" She began to realize she had a lot of questions. "I bet it's loud!" Breeze screamed, trying to imitate the ear piercing screams of young Dragonets.

Olympus laughed at her theatrics and shot past her. "It is." he yelled, the wind whipping through his horns and tugging as his wings. "The academy is in the mountain. They hollowed it out a lot."

"How interesting!" Breeze didn't know if Olympus could hear her, the wind knocked her small voice away. She passed Olympus, tucking in her wings in so she looked like a torpedo. This helped Breeze fly but sometimes she'd have to spread her wings so she wouldn't plummet. She darted towards Jade mountain. The mountain looked huge compared to Breeze's size.

Olympus swooped after her, avoiding a couple of birds flying past, tempting his appetite.

Breeze attacked a bird midflight, eating it as fast as possible by somehow still keeping up with Olympus. She smiled, a feather stuck on her talons
