Karen wrote: "Can you and your book pal read the same book or do they have to be different?"It's your choice. Personally I like to read the same one. I think it gives you a chance to get to know your partner a little better and it's more fun:)
Maya and I are going to read Black-Eyed Susans and Try Not to Breathe. We picked one from each other's TBR list.
Debbie, are you still interested in participating? Dominique, if my book pal and yours doesn't show up, are you interested in pairing up?

I will do a group read with both of you if I don't hear from my partner:)

I wil..."
Oh, dear. It's an epidemic...
Lisa & Dominique - let's give our potential book pals until noon EST on Friday then we will get together and pick a book(s).
Maya and I are reading our books in opposite order. I just finished Black-Eyed Susans while Maya is reading Try Not to Breathe. Then we will switch. It is fun!!!
Kirsten *Dogs Welcome - People Tolerated" wrote: "Anyone not get a response from their Book Pal? I'm open!"I'm still open. Pick a book and I will see if I have it or can get it from my library:)
If you are having trouble with your Book Pal, let me know and I can try to email them. I cannot promise that I can reach them either, but I can try my hardest!
Angela missed the sign up, so I partnered with her. She and I will be reading Where They Found Her. I have already started it, and it is great so far!
I just finished Trail Of Broken Wings by Sejal Badani. I'd never read this author before, but her work was excellent and the story always captivating in this literary fiction novel. I would highly recommend it if you want an emotional read or a good cry over a book.
Just finished reading my book pal book
Sworn to Silence by Linda Castillohttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I read a great book off my February book pals TBR list. Thanks Gopal(The Minion) for introducing me to this book. I'll be reading the other in the series. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
Adrienne and I finished
last month and really enjoyed it. We plan to read another book by this author
together in the future as we have enjoyed being book pals and have moved on to read a series together!
Karen and I read a book from her and one from my list. I loved it and will happily join another book pal month :-) I usually don't like being told what to read, but this was brilliant as we could share our thoughts on the books.
I agree with Maya. This was a lot of fun. Maya and I read Black-Eyed Susans, which we both gave 4 stars and Try Not to Breathe, which Maya gave 4 stars while I gave it 3. I definitely am looking forward to the March book that was selected.
I finished
. I gave the book 4 stars. Kat my book pal did not care for book at this time; therefore, she did not finish it. My review is below:This book has a surprising ending. It will leave you speechless. The beginning was exciting, quick, and set the stage for the suspense early. Catrin Quinn has lost her two sons in a tragedy accident at the hand of her best friend Rachel Grimwood. The grief overtakes her and revenge is all she can plot. Her husband has moved on with life with another woman and has another child. Her ex-lover is still hoping he can bring her back from the depths. At this point, children start to become missing in the Falkland Islands community. Is it by coincidence or plan the first two boys who have disappeared look very similar to Cartin's two deceased son's, Ned and Kit?

She was staring at the line of lights, curling its way towards us like a giant serpent from science fiction.
And mine, I suppose, in fairness.
My February book pal Gopal(The Minion) and I read a book off each of our TBR list. We finished one in February. I just finished Circle of Friends off my list. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
