I just found and bought this at the library book sale. (.25 cents!)
I started this one a while back but never finished it so maybe if I have time I will get it back out and try again. :) It wasn't cause I didn't like it but to many review books got in the way.
I am 2/3 of the way through and really digging it. This is my first Joe Hill book (I know!) and I like that everything is viewed through Jude's lens. There was just a big reveal that made the story even creepier and is making me wonder what's next.
I don't think I am going to be able to put this in my reading schedule this month...bummer.
I just started it, and it seems pretty good. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Sorry I can't get to this. February has been crazy. Hopefully I can hop on March's pick.
Just finished. The beginning was great, nice ghost story, but the characters just didn't do it for me. Hard to like a book when you hate the characters.

I finished it this weekend. A pretty good ghost story. Crazier than I first anticipated.
Aging, self-absorbed rock star Judas Coyne has a thing for the macabre -- his collection includes sketches from infamous serial killer John Wayne Gacy, a trepanned skull from the 16th century, a used hangman's noose, Aleister Crowley's childhood chessboard, etc. -- so when his assistant tells him about a ghost for sale on an online auction site, he immediately puts in a bid and purchases it.
The black, heart-shaped box that Coyne receives in the mail not only contains the suit of a dead man but also his vengeance-obsessed spirit. The ghost, it turns out, is the stepfather of a young groupie who committed suicide after the 54-year-old Coyne callously used her up and threw her away. Now, determined to kill Coyne and anyone who aids him, the merciless ghost of Craddock McDermott begins his assault on the rocker's sanity.
