From a strictly logical POV, Kathy, it's a splurge for me and I probably shouldn't have done it, but I've never been to one of Laurie's launches and I just HAD to! I am looking forward to it so much!

My thinking exactly, Kathy. I thought "Life is short, go for it!"

I regret that I have neither the time nor money to do the Malice Domestic convention, even though it's in my geographic area. But is there going to be a FOL meetup, apart from the convention? And if so, can it please NOT be on Friday, April 29, which is the last day of Passover and thus a non-starter for me?

Lenore, I don't think we know yet, as it will depend on how many FOL's are attending Malice. Will probably start thinking about that closer to the time -

Anyone going to Left Coast Crime in Phoenix, 25 Feb to 28 Feb? Or anyone in the Phoenix area who would like to meet up? (that means not necessarily having to register) I know friends Alice and Merrily are attending, wondered if any one in the area is interested in a chat/lunch/etc.? We may be able to include Laurie, can't promise until checked on!
