Now that I've finished it and read it through with/without footnotes and endnotes, I've kind of come to the conclusion that I liked it more for the footnotes and endnotes than the comic strips. I know that's weird.A few of the comics were pretty fun and a couple were just meh. There was such a small number of actual comics too, and the book was swallowed up by the notes. It really showed the passion/obsession of the author, Padua, and is one of the most obviously researched writings I've ever read next to a scholarly paper!
None of these things I'm saying are bad things, and I really enjoyed this book; only surprisingly for the notes and research rather than the comic alone.
and some of those math puns.. wow and lol. I had a math professor that was always making math jokes and this took me back.
