Another interest place to share - Empire Avenue

I just had some success using the social media share holder market site empire avenue. (I am not affiliated to that in any way other than having been on it since the years dot)
I had invested in some people profiles over a long period, and likewise people in me. Its just for fun. However the credits (eaves) can be used to give away or invest in other people.
One of the things they have is called missions. You offer people credits to come and visit something, like an amazon giveaway. I had tried it before but that was when I only had one book, now I have two :)
I set a mission with the title "Going way past VR and IoT in this authentic sci-fi adventure - Come and take a look" and a little bot of blurb about both books and sent them to the url for my book. All they have to do is click. Rather like any ad. No obvious connection to a sale. Except this time, within minutes I had a comment back, saying a fellow empire avenue user had liked the mission, and had bought the book. Which I think they have as I had only just looked at the sales for the day.
I just thought I would share that with you. My portfolio has sat there for years gaining the virtual currency, so I had the credits to spend on the giveaway.
It may have been my change of wording, or targeting the technology community in the mission, still it was a direct and instant success (as every sale/download counts doesn't it :) )
