There's an extra day this February so I'm sure you'll be using that time wisely and doing extra reading right?

Share what you're reading below and help someone else find their next great read!

Susan (yetanothersusan) | 203 comments I'll be honest, I just finished suffering through Better Than Before. In fact, after I finish posting this comment I am going to Eventbrite to cancel my tickets for the author visit next week. Perhaps I am too old, but I didn't really learn anything helpful from the book. I could identify myself in her various catagories but don't find it helpful in making habits easier. I think if you are floundering trying to make changes, the book might offer some insight.

I am now starting Our Endless Numbered Days. I have higher hopes!

Just finished Blood Will Out by Walter Kirn for our book group. It's a true crime book, but not your usual take on the genre. It's more of a psychological examination of how the author, and others, let themselves be fooled by one of the most notorious con-men and murders in history. It's not a book that is easy to like, but it is thought provoking. If you like mystery or true crime or even psychological suspense I would recommend it.

Currently holding my bookmark is something completely different, Chocolate Temptation by Laura Florand, a romance set in the world of elite gourmet pastry cooking in Paris. Yum!

John | 105 comments As usual, I've got a couple different books going at the same time.

I'm reading "Luna: New Moon" by Ian McDonald for our book club. Different, but good. Lots of positive reviews.

And I'm reading the manga series "Monster," by Naoki Urasawa. It's a more intense story with adult characters and interests that adults and older teens would enjoy.

In audio: "High Moor: Moonstruck" by Graeme Reynolds. A suitably taut, gory werewolf-monster tale.

Susan (yetanothersusan) | 203 comments I just finished The Promise. Gosh I'm a sucker for a dog in a mystery!

Now I'm starting Ready Player One! Good thing I have tomorrow off!

Jen (jenjen31) | 2 comments I read Gorge: My Journey Up Kilimanjaro at 300 pounds by Kara Richardson Whitely. It was really good. I got it through Link+ and am bummed I can't seem to find her first book Fat Woman on the Mountain anywhere. I'll have to buy the e-book.

I am struggling through The Causal Vacancy.

I am enjoying 44 Scotland Street which was a personalized recommendation through the library! Loving that service :)

John | 105 comments I've started a new audiobook, a nonfiction this time: "The Glass Cage," by Nicholas Carr. "Glass Cage" explores the benefits, costs, and sometimes fatal consequences of over reliance on technology and automation.

Cat Fithian (caterwaul1) | 28 comments I've finally started reading Jazz by Toni Morrison, a book that I've long wanted to read and was actually gifted to me by my son. And I'm listening to Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith and Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. Both very good, and vastly different from one another!

Allie | 14 comments I am reading The Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee. I am loving it! It's got some beautiful writing. The descriptions are gorgeous and really vivid... I feel as if I'm in late 19th Century Paris. The story itself is haunting and wonderful. I highly recommend it!

Julie | 125 comments i just finished reading Marked in Flesh by Anne Bishop and it was everything I hoped it would be...very slow burn on the romance but there is danger coming to the humans. I am still loving this world and I haven't picked up a new book yet. I'm book hungover . Read this series if you haven't .

Cat Fithian (caterwaul1) | 28 comments Just started listening to Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. I must admit that the reader isn't winning me over. All of her voices sound the same . . . and I'm finding them annoying. The story, however, is great. I may need to give in and get it in print. Sigh.
