Rockland County Aspiring Writers discussion

We writers need inspiration from time to time, so i thought I would share this... Hugh Howey wrote a little 39 page book and put it on the kindle and forgot about it, at least he tried to, but he recieved so many demands to write more he brought out 8 more books in the series. What is inspirational about this is what is now called Kindle Worlds. There are a number of topics YOU can write about and share the profits with the original owner of the work. It is a great way to find an immediate audience.
I am giving it a go and will have my own Wool book online in a few weeks, i will update you on how it goes....

I really need a writer's group. I am in Rockland and want to get in one. Do you know of one around? I just bought your book, btw. Looks interesting.

There was once a group connected with Rockland Community College and another discussion group at Long Island University sponsored Collaborative in Orangeburg, however I don't know if either one is still active. Best bet: Form a group and see how many attend.
