I just finished the book and liked it. Great intro for the series. I felt that the characters could have be developed a little more, but overall, I love the story, romance and touch of humor in the book.

I am trying to read it.
I finished it but I wasn't thrilled with it.It was hard for me to keep reading. The whole idea of the princess selling beauty products and traveling around telling everyone that she is a princess while she is supposed to be in hiding, just didn't work for me. I stuck with it and it got a little better but I never really fell in love with the characters or the book.
I agree with you Pamela I'm finding it very difficult to get into and I'm not enjoying it.
From the moment she announced herself as a princess i became skeptical.
I'm going to try and read more before I quite.
Very melodramatic in places and the evil commander didn't work for me.
