This book is one of my all time favorites! I'm so excited to have people to discuss it with!

How's everybody finding the books so far..? What are the first impressions? :)

I just finished the book, and rated it four stars. Here is my review:

Unpopular opinion time: I didn't love the story. Sure, I liked it, and I think the concept is incredibly fascinating, but the pacing was a bit too slow for my liking, and it could not always keep my interest. There were also a few too many women-degrading lines, which of course can be explained with the timeframe it was written in, yet at times, it annoyed me slightly.
That said, I absolutely adore the writing style and I have highlighted so many quotes that it would be impossible to pick a favourite. A few of the ones I love most, though:
Was there anything so real as words?
He lives the poetry that he cannot write.
A dull rage was in his heart.

I just realized this if for 2016. Oh well....still enjoying it so far.
