Storied CRAZINESS!?!?
Heres mine:Every relationship I get into, I ruin. I hurt everyone I get near. I hurt everyone I think were my friends. My "friends" don't trust me. I get delusional at believing that I have friends. I am never good at keeping friends around. I always flit around from friend group to friend group. I never fit in. I am always feeling invisible. No one trusts me. I never have felt welcomed.
I don't know if the story was supposed to be depressing or happy. Or if it just has to be happy. But that's basically my story.
Yeah, just so y'all know it doesn't have to be your life story. It can be a telling of an event or etc that happened to you or someone else you know. As well it can also be your life story if you want (;
@Luba- Yay!!! Okay :D
@Chesire- Aw, I'm sorry my friend! That was a great story! It was as an entrance into your heart! Just know you fit in perfectly here <3 I consider you my friend! We all have problems, but you are so special, and because God has a purpose for you are worth way more than your problems!! You are a blessing!! We love you here <3

A Dreamer in a LARGE WorldLiving in a large world can be difficult. There are millions of people, tons of places to go to, and dreams bigger than one can imagine.
Who would expect that I, a simple girl, would have a dream bigger than my own self?
Being only fourteen, some people may think that my dreams are ‘too large’, ‘a fake’, or perhaps even, ‘impossible.’
Yes, my dreams seem impossible, even to me, but I will not give them up. If I want to write a book, I won’t let anybody stop me. If I want to meet some authors or celebrities, I will do my best to meet them. If I start dating while in my teens, I believe in young love.
I believe that no matter what, I should not let the world get me down. I am a girl full of dreams and ideas. No one can stop me. That is why I wrote my true story about my dreams. Who knows me better than my own self? I am the girl who may be considered crazy, flirty, rebellious, and even pretty. But I am the girl with the dreams. And I think that everybody should be able to ‘Dream Big.’
Some of the members of Real Christian may not think this should be considered as a true story, but let me take a moment to say, “A true story is not what I have done; it is what I dream and believe.”
Awwwwww, Haley!!!!! That was so beautiful!!!!! *handclaps and confetti* That was so touching and deep!! I loved that so much :D xD Thank you Haley for doing that, most definitely a true story ((;

Another story.I see al l these stories that people say are good. It reminds me of how people always say that their lives are good. The truth is: Its all the same. The differences are where you are going. What you believe in. Who you are(admittedly), but we are all created in Gods image.
You may Believe in gods, you may believe in God, or you might have no religion. It shapes your life. You sacrifice, you believe. Different places. You go to heaven or hell.
Everyone is the same, yet we always judge. Whos true story is better? Who's life is better off? Who lives in poverty? We are all the same on the inside.
From dust we come, to dust we end as.
Who are you? Where are you going? What do you believe in? Are you willing to give up everything? Are you willing to gain nothing? Are you just living, or doing?
Nobody's story is exactly the same as others, but we are all connected. We are all interlocked. We are all components of a great masterpiece.
Addition to above story:Nobody's life is more important, or better rewarding. When you die, it wont matter. You will still be dead.
@Si- Aw wow. *stunned* That was so very beautiful!! its as I could feel it!! So amazing my friend †
@Haley- you bet we have confetti *confetti streams down* ((;

Probably a stupid question but this goes with my recent story.Everyone has the same story, just not at the same time, so why put them up for a contest.
@Parzival I loved your story!! And in answer to your question, I like to think if this not as a contest but more as an oppurtunity to share with others what God has done in your life and others lives, both good and bad. The contest aspect of this is to initiate more participation in the group and to have something fun we can all do together, there shouldn't be any picking favorites, or belittling of anyone's story, it's supposed to be fun and with no conflict. Does that answer your question?
I agree with Tamara completely!!!!! Amen!! Honestly, I forgot your question cause I was lost for words. Her words I couldn't have made better!! Perfect!! Just good fun, nothing to get angry or worried about. And thus why I made so many rewards, cause it is hard for me to choose winners cause you all are so talented <3 But, all of you will truly be winners cause you all were open to help others with your stories ((;
I have, I'm going to call them flashes of depression where I suddenly get angry or depressed. They happen a lot. That post was just getting it off my chest. That was the first thing that came to mind when I heard about this thread.
Aw, you both are amazing people!! I have the same moments! Its good to get it out, and makes for some beautiful writing as well <3
:D
:D
This is a real life story;In a certain class,there was this teacher who was an atheist.He loathed God so much that every time he came to class,he challenged the students to prove to him that God exists.None of them could because they were not bold enough to stand up to the teacher.Oneday one bold christian stood up to challenge him and the teacher responded by saying that he would drop a whole piece of chalk and if the chalk did not break into pieces,he would be convinced that is really a God.So he did drop the chalk and miraculously...the piece of chalk remained as it was...the teacher was so surprised he was speechless and he eventually left the class...and never came back!This goes to show us,no matter the circumstances,never be ashamed,to prove to anyone,your love for GOD!!God's not dead!
@Luba- Well, me and Tamara haven't set a for sure end date as of yet because I wanted everyone on the group to have a chance to join in ((:
So, probably a bit longer, but I will tell you for sure soon ;D
@Salma- Aw!!!! That was so good ;D I really enjoyed that storytelling and message!!!! Such a GREAT job :D ;D

*clears throat* Here we go!At Sunday school, we used to learn the bible book by book. In Genesis 32:22-32, Jacob wrestled with a man in white, presumably an angel. I doubted the existence of them, since one, I couldn't see them and two, if they really existed I wouldn't be bullied by my sisters (yes, that's how the brain of the seven year old me functioned :P)
My family loves to travel. Ever since we bought our very first car a few years ago, my mother has been driving us around Asia for as long as I could remember. We would drive from Beijing to Hong Kong every year to visit my grandparents, and we would stop at new provinces every time. Road trips saved us a lot of money because we had financial problems and couldn't afford train tickets, that's why we never took them after we bought our car. I learn new things on every trip, which thrills me. There is one trip, however, that I don’t think I would ever forget.
We were heading back to Beijing from Hong Kong, and were passing by the Gannan province (I live in China). Gannan wasn't like any big city. What was there to see? Mountains, prairies, grass and cows. There were no buildings, no nothing. People lived in huts but everything was beautiful anyway. Back to the story; the sky had turned from blue to dark grey and hail was pouring. We were driving around the tall mountains and the roads were going through constructions, so it was soft and muddy. (Gannan didn't have concrete roads so we had to drive pass/through mountains) My mother was impatient and wanted us to arrive at our destinations before it was dark. She decided to take a ‘shortcut’, which was a small, steep road alongside the cliff. It turned out the mud was more sinkable and slippery, and to our horror our car brake did not work, so the car continued to reel forward, heading towards the cliff.
Our car would’ve tumbled down the steep mountain, but luckily there were two giant rocks in front that blocked our car. However we could not drive backwards because we were stuck in between the two rocks. It was getting late and there was no one to help us. My sisters were crying, my parents were arguing and it was a complete mess. After discussing, my parents decided to spend a night in our car until morning. We waited for any cars passing by so that someone could help but there was no one. There were few citizens in Gannan too and we doubted there was even a police station. The night was uncomfortable and tense, of course, since the rocks could lose their grasp anytime and that the luggage occupied a lot of space so I could barely move, since I sat in the middle and both my little sisters sat on huge safety-car seats.
Consequences of being the eldest sibling, guys.
I woke up, thinking I heard my parents’ voices and that we were on the road again. I even "heard" the loud music playing on the radio. But when I opened my eyes, my family was still asleep and there was no music. It was merely my imagination. I mentally cursed myself, when I suddenly heard footsteps. It was hard to get a clear view of what was happening outside and who was crossing, since our windows were foggy due to the different temperatures inside and outside the car. That was when I noticed a white figure passing by our car. He looked like he was wearing a white raincoat with a hood, so I couldn’t get a look of his face. I tried knocking on the window for help, but my seatbelt wouldn’t budge, so I couldn’t reach it. I woke up my parents, saying there was someone passing by. They quickly got out of the car, but there was no one. However, faraway there was a car heading towards our direction.
We were rescued by the passengers on other car, and I was thankful for whatever hallucination that I had. However, a small part of me still had a feeling; maybe, just maybe, angels do exist.
Well, that was years ago. Of course I believe in them right now xD
Oh.My.Goodness. Maya, that was amazing!! The story telling kept me glued to my seat, and such a wonderful, shocking story!!!!!!! *handclaps* That was really something there :D xD

Heyyyyyy!!!
Yes, from the subject line you can probably already realize how excited I am about this :D
So me, and Tamara have a totally awesome idea!!!
So, I realized that this time of year life gets crazy. Its not just me clearly; it flusters us all. The stress, worry, challenges and bothers seems to press on us especially hard this time of year.
So, why not have some fun to get our mind off of everything, (in Tamara's case, it gets her mind of Sophocles xP) Haha.
This will also, I pray, make us laugh, smile, connect with each other, and make the group a little more lively. After all, how far can a smile go ;D
I introduce a new challenge: "Storied Craziness?!?!" Haha. (Crazy name, eh?)
So, the challenge is this: tell us a true story, whether it be, romance/humor/crazy/awkward/scary/happy/or anything else you can think of! This story has to be real, whether it is something that happened to you, or whether it is you retelling a story that happened to someone else!
Tell us this story!!
Then, after everyone has been given a chance to write their story, me and Tamara will read them and judge.
Whoever has the story that sticks with us the most- will win!!
But I'm not through explaining yet ((;
There are rewards!! Haha
1st Winner: Gets to write a group message to send out! (The winner will write the message then will give it to me or Tamara and we will send it out to the group, giving credit to the winner.) (Whatever you want to write, its all up to you!!)
2nd Place Winner: Gets to ask me and Tamara any question (ANY) and we will answer completely and honestly and send it out to the group! (As long as it's appropriate ;))
3rd Place Winner: Gets to choose mine and Tamara's profile picture, that we must keep for a week. (I may regret that idea :P)
4th Place Winner: Gets to choose mine and Tamara's username, that we must keep for a week. (We will put our initials or name in parentheses beside your chosen name, so we will still be known. Haha)
This could be fun... *whispers* or crazy!!!!!
It would mean the world to me if you would participate :D
The only rules:
*Must be appropriate.
*Have FUN!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, let's go!!!
Here is the topic where we will be posting:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Now, i need to know if you are going to participate!! I haven't set a date for this to end because I want y'all all to get into this!! So, either go to that topic and tell us you are gonna participate, message me, or vote here: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1...
If you have any other questions feel more than free to message me :D
But please, it'd mean the world to me if you would participate :D
*hugs*
Oh and I forgot a rule, always remember Jesus loves you :D
I hope I don't regret those rewards ;P xD

*Pushes you toward that topic*
