Alex | 3 comments Though the story is set mostly in Los Angeles and Tokyo, the novel within my novel Nakamura Reality is titled Fingal's Cave. What might you guess is the reason for my choice? By the way, my publisher, Permanent Press, is giving away 25 copies of the novel (Publishers Weekly Starred Review) on Goodreads. Here's the link to the Giveaway:

Alex | 3 comments I do write a bit about Fingal's Cave in my novel Nakamura Reality. "Fingal's Cave" was the name of the overture to Felix Mendelssohn's Hebrides Symphony, which he wrote after visiting the magnificent natural formation. My novel might provide a wee bit of information on the cave, but I don't know if it would enhance your vacation. Have a great time!

Alex | 3 comments I love that overture. Hey, why don't you enter the giveaway and if you win and don't like the novel you can toss it into Fingal's Cave when you visit Scotland.
