Grief Is the Thing with Feathers discussion

60 people in my book club are meeting to discuss this stunning debut on the evening of the 24th and a further 14 of us are meeting tomorrow lunchtime. Due to numbers we have had to split the group. I picked this book knowing the author is part of the Essex Book Festival diary and will encourage people to add their online thoughts here. As a book seller (now selling multiple copies of it) my challenge has been 'which box to tick on the till', ha, ha! Is it fiction - novel? Or non-fiction - poetry? and then describing it to customers.Max Porter
