Reads With Friends discussion

Read first chapter. So far not liking it. The names drive me crazy. Will read more but not sure will finish this one. Anyone else reading it? Hoping it gets better.

I'm reading it! A bit of an anticlimactic start for me too. A little on the predictable side but I'm enjoying the relationship between the 2 main characters. Not best book ever but I'll definitely finish it.

Just finished Part 1 and I am absolutely loving it! Currently listening to the Audio book, and it's great! I think it's so fun and light hearted! Hope everyone else is enjoying it!

I finished part one earlier today and I like the book so far. It’s cute and light. I wish there had been a little more build up before the two main characters professed their love for each other though.

I thought the exact same thing. Or just the way she blurted it out. I was like "Eh....". :-)

Read 2 more chapters. Chapter 2 she's kissing some guy and lots of drinking, chapter 3 says she's engaged to the prince yet then it goes back in time as she stumbles upon him in park. It's confusing. Also don't like the drinking. Like it's necessary to have a good time. Didn't like that comment that you must drink to have a good time. It's not healthy to encourage drinking. Sorry got on a rant there. I just dislike when books put down people who don't drink.

Alright, I've gotta admit it. I am putting this one down. Quite simply, I'm not in the mood for it and I haven't enjoyed the writing or structure/flow of the story. Not a fan of the random flashback timeline (not really a fan of this writing style in general), and so I'm putting it down for now. I might pick it up again in the future but I was not impressed :/ hope the rest of you enjoy if more than me!!

Glad I'm not the only one feeling that way. I agree with you.

I can totally see why others wouldn't like this book but I'm really enjoying it. I don't enjoy all the drinking but I love the love story and just how light and fluffy it is. :) I guess I needed a light fluffy guilty pleasure read right now.
