Just finished reading the second book in this series and felt I needed to write down some stuff on my latest book crush - Aiden!

Honestly, at first I felt like he was just a copy of Dimitri from Vampire Academy but after this book I'm starting to really fall for him and see him as an individual and not a Dimitri-look-alike

Oh hell yes! I haven't read these yet, but I LOVE guys who have Dimka's characteristics!! I need to meet this guy! This is J.L. Armentrout's series, right?

Maggie | 15 comments This series was such a fast and fun read for me. I agree that as the series progress it's less like VA, Aiden becomes his own person and not Dimitri alike anymore. But the first book was really similar to VA - snarky heroine who comes back to the Academy/Covenant and trains with a hot brooding warrior.. Also: Dhampir/Half Bloods, Moroi/Pure Bloods, Strigoi/Daimon, Guardians/Sentinels ... Way too much like VA :D
Btw. I don't know why, but the first Lux book reminded me of Twilight a bit..? Am I the only one?:D

I think you're right.....a little bit! Even though I personally think Obsidian was wayyyyy better!

Maggie | 15 comments Yeah, I definitely agree! Lux series is WAY much better than Twilight. Actually, I don't like twilight, not the movies and not the books. (Sorry) Lux is enjoyable read with heroine who has actually interesting personality unlike Bella. And she is a blogger and loves books! I haven't actually read about many heroines which were book bloggers, not in fantasy.<3 (Only in contemporary, for example - Ella from Cinder & Ella - And that book was pure awesomeness!)
But the basic outline of the story was little bit similar in the 1 book, unintentionally I guess.
Btw. If you liked Lux, definitely try Covenant!:)
