15.3. Still Flying.........
Along with the other losses from the arts world in January, Paul Kantner and Signe Toly Anderson, two of the founding members of the Jefferson Airplane, both passed away on January 28.

Option 1.
A. Read a book whose title/subtitle contains a word that matches one of the words from the titles of the songs on the Airplane's first album (when Anderson was with the band) Jefferson Airplane Takes Off.
Any word except articles (a, an, the) may be used, but the words must match exactly.
AND
B. read a book whose author's initials can be found in JEFFERSON AIRPLANE. Middle initials can be disregarded. There must be at least 2 initials, however - a single name author will not work.

OR

Option 2 Read one book that satisfies both criteria for option 1.

at least two initials are needed. I'll note that in the task description.

Kim | 764 comments Does the word in the book title have to have the same meaning as the word in the song title?

Song: And I Like it
Book: Throw Like a Woman

The word that matches is like, but the meanings are different.

Thank you.

Please see the Rules of the Challenge:

"Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreword, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks. "

yes, the task only excludes articles.

Deedee | 2396 comments yes, the task only excludes articles -- so I'm assuming "from" can be used as well:

Raised from the Ground

1. "Blues from an Airplane"
