just wanting to verify Clark Howard's Living Large in Lean Times: 250+ Ways to Buy Smarter, Spend Smarter, and Save Money for FINANCES genre. It could fall off the page with only 6 people having shelved it as such.

Anyone able to help me with some recommendations? I'm looking at the genres lists for Finance and Financial shelves, but almost none of them have those on the main page. I've gone through like 100 books and found just a couple that will work and they were all either badly rated or the reviews made them sound really politically biased.

I'd prefer a history like book that deals with finances through history, but I'll take about anything at this point that sound remotely interesting.

Here is an example of how confusing this MPG shelving thing is.

A Splendid Exchange: How Trade Shaped the World from Prehistory to Today is shelved 12 times under Finance, 2 times under Finance-Economics, 2 times under Finance-History, and one under economics-and-finance.

If you look at the MPG though, Finance is not on there.

I enjoy searching for books to read to fit the tasks, but this particular MPG/genre/shelving thing doesn't seem to make any sense for this particular word. It's almost as if they've made all algorithm that ignore "FINANCE" on the MPG if there is "ECONOMICS" shelved with more numbers and they just lump them together. I have found any book with Finance and Economics on the MPG together because I guess they consider them the same?

why don't you ask someone at GR? There is a "contact us" option under the general help.

If you go to the listopia section and put in finance or finances, you'll get a number of lists with finance books - I obviously didn't check all of them for you, but I checked quite a few, and there were many that had finances as a mpg.

Ironically, it also has finance > 9 users on the 1st page lol.
