Ever Redo a Book Trailer?

I teach film making and media, so I've redone quite a bit of work over the years. The thing about any piece that I make, is that over time it starts to look worse and worse to me. I only see the mistakes when something's done.Given that I teach film, it's ironic that I haven't made a book trailer yet. I've been thinking for months on what I want to do. All I have been able to figure out so far is that I want it to be unusual and really innovative. Maybe it's time to actually plan it! :)
I totally redid my trailer for
I am so proud of the new version. I took criticisms from the original to improve on the new :) It was def worth the time spent to renew it.

I just had my trailer tweaked because the original didn't show the book cover. Instead, there was a classy-looking black screen with the book title and author on it. After a bit of feedback, I decided that the marketing advantage of showing the actual cover was more important. Luckily I had a very understanding artist who was happy to change things for me :)

But to the question at hand, has anyone ever redone a book trailer? Was it necessary and did you feel better knowing the content was better than the first time you did it?
