Sherry Miller | 8 comments Fireworks in the Night (Randy the Raccoon and His Musical Friends #1) by Sherry Miller i would love to have someone review my book. An unlikely cast of characters will take you on an adventure into the world and music of George Frideric Handel. Rock a Note Farm, on Harmony Lane, will never be the same now that Randy the Raccoon is there to stay. His stories about the magical woods that surround the farm piqued the animal’s interest to explore. After Farmer Heather tucks everyone in each night the adventures start. Randy leads his new friends through the magical woods that border the farm, back in time to England, where George Frederic Handel lived. Randy didn’t realize how dangerous it would be for him to go back in time. Fireworks and a mistaken identity are all part of the suspense in this Randy the Raccoon and His Musical Friends book.

Alicia Holt | 11 comments Hello Peggy,
I am a new author who has just published The Day Cappy Bear Got Lost. It is available on Amazon.com. It is a picture book for elementary school aged children. In this story a beloved German shepherd dog gets lost after digging a hole under a fence. His worried family begins to look for him through the neighborhood. They get the opportunity to see if the good pet care they have given Cappy Bear will help them to find their beloved pet. The illustrations are colorful and enticing. My illustrator Grant Kratzer did an excellent job bringing the characters to life. I also do reviews. I teach first grade. I always write reviews that include my students' impressions. If any of you making comments here have a book that elementary children might enjoy, I'd love to hear about it. http://www.amazon.com/Day-Cappy-Bear-...

Tonyna Breaux | 4 comments Hi everyone. I'm a recently published author and would like to have my book reviewed. I'm still new at navigating through the marketing process. My book is called "Susie's New School" and it's about a girl who's father's job insisted they move. When Susie attends her new school, she is begins to be bullied and she's not sure how to overcome it.

Let me know if you're interested in reviewing.... It's available through http://www.amazon.com/Susies-New-Scho...

or email me at tonynabreaux@hotmail.com for a pdf copy if you don't mind leaving reviews on Amazon please. :)
Thanks everyone....

Alicia Holt | 11 comments Hi Tonya,
I love leaving reviews on amazon. I am not new at reviewing books, but I am very new at the marketing process too. I am trying to learn as much as I can. My book The Day Cappy Bear Got Lost is a picture book written for elementary school aged children. It just hit the market last week. I would love to review your book and I would love it if you reviewed mine as well. I have a question however. Perhaps someone can help us out on goodreads. I notice that people offer their books for review in different ways. I reviewed one today by getting it free on amazon. Sandhya the author of The Big Red Firetruck might be able to help us here. I know some people offer a pdf copy. I have also purchased the book and reviewed it. I always thought the review was more credible if it said verified purchase on amazon. Am I wrong about this?

Tonyna Breaux | 4 comments I'm new as well to this whole process. Sorry :(. I would love to review your book considering I have a five year old German shepherd. They are sweet dogs. I have a finished pdf if your interested in that version but I do understand the verified purchase thing through Amazon and I don't mind purchasing your book but mine is paperback only. Let me know what you are comfortable with.

Alicia Holt | 11 comments Tonya,
I will purchase it. I prefer the paperback version. My book does have an eversion, but I actually recommend the paperback version. I worked with a publishing company that said they could not improve the formatting of the eversion. I am disappointed. I felt like they did not properly match the illustrations with the text. I am going to purchase your book on amazon.
Thanks
Alicia Suárez Holt

G.J. Griffiths (gjgriffiths) | 8 comments I have recently completed two books in a children's sci-fi series. The first is titled Ants In Space and is around 75 pages, 12k words long and has B&W illustrations throughout it. The illustrations are being converted to colour as I write.

The second is titled They're Recycling Aliens and is 60 plus pages, 17k words long but no illustrations - yet.

They are aimed at children aged 8 to 11 years.

I intend requesting reviews during the pre-order period while publishing is completed. So finding beta-readers for them is my current problem. I would be grateful to hear from you if you have space in your timeline just now.
I usually write books for YA/adults

Thank you,
G.J. Griffiths

A.F.B. Griffey | 3 comments Hi Peggy,
You would be very welcome to review my illustrated, children's book:
The Revenge of the Goldfish (lively, fun poems for 4 - 7's).

My background is in teaching and although many of the poems have already been 'verbally reviewed and approved' by young children, I would really like something, from an adult, put on Goodreads and on Amazon US!

If you have time, I would value your opinion. The book is for sale, on Amazon, but I will
send you a free copy, if you would like me to. I am in the UK, so postage may take a while, not sure.
