Yea I think that they should have made a second one too because they left the book on a cliff f hanger and then you were just left wondering what happened at the very end when everything was grown and people used it more often.
I thought it was a good short read; good for a break from planting the garden! I would recommend the book French Dirt as a somewhat similar gardening read.
I only read this book because I kind of had to (for school) but I am thankful I did read it. It's not a book that I'd find mys interested in. But this book is inspiring. The way the community comes together and learns to respect one another shows how much you should not judge a book by its cover (not literally but im meaning how they (the people in the book) judged each other on looks and just stories they have heard). Therefore, this book to me is not only a book but a life lesson. Everyone should read this book.
