So just yesterday I finished Infidel, the second book in Kameron Hurley's Bel Dame Apocrypha series. It was very very good. I gave it four stars and wrote a review.Hurley also became the fourth person on my favourite authors list, so she'll be excited about that. She is also the first American.

Oh god. I haven't read any Blyton in... a long time, but I guess I was at the age where I didn't quite realise how much of a product of her time she was. :/
Also, interestingly, that video is blocked for me too - and Channel 4 is here in the UK...

Recently finished V.E. Schwab's book called The Darker Side of Magic. Well-developed characters and good plot pacing. While dark it's also full of light and glitter. Highly recommend.Ordered her next in the series.

I just wrote a review for The Long Earth. I have nominated it two times for book of the month, but now that I read it I have to say I am sorry for that. It was such a disappointment :(
