Amrita - That appears to be book 6 in that series. We need to start with book 1 from a series this group hasn't previously read. Do you want to nominate book 1?
The blurbs for both the books above are very intriguing! I'd also like to nominate
as I've been waiting to read it for months. It would be nice to read it with the group!
I nominate 14 Days to Die.
Description
To what extent would you go to avenge your husband's infidelity?
Stay-at-home mom Sarah Johnson has the perfect family—a handsome, hardworking husband and two healthy and beautiful children. At least, that’s what she’s been telling herself for years. After the tragedies in her youth, Sarah deemed living a lie easier than dwelling on the past and facing her everyday failures. To avoid any kind of confrontation at home she doesn’t read her husband’s emails or spy on him like most jealous wives do. She wouldn’t jeopardize her comfortable but dull life for anything.
But Sarah’s world is about to crumble around her when she receives a phone call from a man with a heavy foreign accent telling her that her perfect husband has put a price on her head. She is offered two weeks to come up with a counteroffer or die. Why would her model husband Mike want her dead? Hasn’t she been the perfect wife? Or has her karma finally caught up with her—making her pay for her former transgressions? The final countdown begins and now Sarah has to race against time to find out what went wrong in her marriage and find a way out of this nightmare.
So the game of life or death begins. Secrets are unveiled. Emotions are unleashed. Actions are taken.
Will there be a winner in this dangerous game when no one can escape the twist of fate?

*Nominations for our March Book of the Month will be accepted through Feb. 21. The poll for voting will open Feb. 22 and close at midnight on Feb. 28.
Monthly Book Nomination Guidelines
-Each member may nominate 2 books per month. Please include a link to the book that you nominate.
-Only nominate books that you intend to read and discuss with the group.
-If your nomination wins the poll, please plan to lead the Book of the Month discussion for that month. Leading the discussion can be as simple as sharing your thoughts about the book and encouraging others to share their views. Or you may choose to post questions concerning the plot, characters, etc. The choice will be yours as to how you lead. There is no right vs. wrong way.
-Nominated books must be from the Mystery/Suspense/Thriller genres or one of the many sub genres.
-Nominated books must be the first book in a series unless the Robb group has read the preceding books previously.
-J.D. Robb and Nora Robert books are not eligible for nomination. We invite you to join us as we explore the In Death series books in our In Death Buddy Reads and enjoy discussing the Nora Roberts titles in our sister group, Nora Roberts Groupies.
-Should an issue arise that results in the winning book being disqualified, the book that received the 2nd most votes will automatically become the replacement Book of the Month.
