Hi! This is a thread so everyone gets to know each other better! You can write anything about yourself on this thread... I'll start!

Hey, I'm Idil :) I like eating chocolate and basically any other desserts. I love reading, mostly YA books. My favourite books of all time are Harry Potter, Let it Snow and Hex Hall... I also love listening to music, my favourite band is Twenty One Pilots. I watch Friends (currently I'm rewatching it for the 4th time) and Dr. House (which I just started but I love it!).

Hi, I'm Audrey. I agree with Idil that I love dark chocolate and reading. I do enjoy YA books, just not the trashy kind (cough Divergent cough). My favourite books of all time are The Thief (+series) by Megan Whalen Turner, Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, and Seraphina by Rachel Hartman (but NOT Shadow Scale). When I'm not reading, however, I'm either listening or playing music, writing, or suffering from ambedo.

Hey! I'm Maya. I love drinking tea, reading and I have a slight obsession with popcorn. I also love anything related to music. I used to only read YA, but I've started reading a lot more literature and fiction. It's impossible for me to decide on some favourite books, but some ones that I've read recently and enjoyed are Seraphina, The Sisters Brothers, Winter (from the Cinder series), and Red Queen.

Hey guys, I'm Mallika, and i'm probably the youngest here. I read pretty much any and every genre, but my favorite is fantasy. Most of the time. Fantasy and Mistery/ Thrillers/ Horror, eh you get the gist. The eh probably told you guys i'm Canadian. The moose say hi. :) Also I am pretty much in love with food.

Coming from someone who's watched the tv show and read the book, I'd agree and say that the books are very different from the tv show. It's only the base idea that is the same. (Oh, and I'm completely obsessed with the tv show it's amazingggg)

I currently started reading books again since I got obsessed with K-pop and K-drama, but a special friend of mine told me to stop since I barely slept 3 hours a day. So I hope that joining this group will help to divide my priorities and read as many books with you guys. My favorite book of all time is the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. I also like the watching Friends as Idil which was the best TV show comedy by the way and finally I hope to get to know you all a bit more :)

I also read and loved the Mortal Instruments! Did you know that they're airing a Shadowhunters TV series that is about the books? I started watching it, and I didn't think it was too good, but they only have 5 episodes at the moment, so you never know, maybe it'll get better and more exciting!!

Aye I'm CJ and I read sometimes. Nowadays, it's rare that a book'll retain my interest long enough for me to pick it up, let alone read it.
I do like to indulge in a good book once in a while though, and I hope to be discovering more works suited to my tastes.

Yeah! I was super excited about it since it aired the same day as my birthday, so free form gave me the best birthday present ever. I really hope that the TV series gets better so it continues until Sebastian's character appears

Hey you guys! I'm Val, I'm 18 and I live in Buenos Aires; I'm very excited to get to know you all! I read a looot of YA, though I kinda got tired of fantasy/dystopian, and I love some thrillers and historical fiction, especially WWII related haha

Hi guys! My name is Masoodah and I'm currently studying business at college in the UK. I was into reading since a very young age and to this day I still love it. My all time favourite books are Fangirl, Divergent series and The Lux Series. I have many more, but these are my top three. Im a sucker for romance and love romantic books but I'm currently trying to get into other genres as well apart from only romance. I also like mystery/thriller books. I also have an obsession with manga and anime. And love the Asian culture overall.

Hi, I’m Jill. Thanks for inviting me! I love tea, hate indecisive heroines (and heroes) with a passion, and have a slight obsession with sweets. I love reading… mostly everything. Pick a genre and I’ve probably read it on some rainy day. I tend to stay away from YA after several… traumatic experiences but I picked up NA recently and I really like it. The best NA book I’ve yet encountered would probably be The Deal by Elle Kennedy but I have a special weakness for Nero and Vincent (Made Men).
All about the mobsters. :)
As for TV, it pretty much watches me. I like Arrow but I won’t watch until Felicity gets in that grave. It better not be Diggle in there. I’ve never watched a single episode of The 100 and I’ve sworn off Supergirl. I still watch The Flash but it’s more habitual than anything. If not for that bombshell last night, I would’ve given up. (view spoiler)[ I knew it was Jay’s Earth 1 counterpart! Unless it’s a guy from another earth. (hide spoiler)] As for Gotham… I love it, but it’s not on yet. I also like the Walking Dead and I feel no sorrow saying (view spoiler)[ “I am glad that Jesse and her kids are dead and gone forever.” (hide spoiler)] The bombshell with Negan’s crew shocked me. Was I the only one who thought they’d killed off Negan? And did I forget to mention that I binge watch anime? Hmm… I guess I’m not watching TV right now so it is watching me, but when everything comes back on that will change. I. Can't. Wait.

Hey Jill! Tea is, in my opinion, a necessity of life.But tea, books, and rainy days? Too much pleasure in one. I've never watched any of those TV shows, though I've been considering starting the Walking Dead or the Flash. Welcome! Audrey.

Hi, I am Joely, I have just joined! I am a big bookworm for romance and classics, and I am in anorexia recovery, so reading is really a getaway from everything going on for me at the moment! I love hockey and dogs and art too ... :-)
