Hey guys, what are your suggestions to make the group better? Should we have more than one moderator, more polls, better layout, etc.?

Hey everyone, I'm thinking since we now have twenty members, I could do something special. I'm thinking about nominating a co-moderator! So if I ever miss important information about the Pegasus Series, the co-moderator can send it out to everyone! Or if I start to fall behind on updates, the co-moderator can help out. The co-moderator will have to be an active group member, and passionate about the series! I'll need someone who can find out information that I might've missed. I could do a poll on who should be co-moderator, let me know if you want to and I'll put you on the list!

That's the thing, where would I get info?

You know how you always update us on like when the book is coming out, special events, emails, reviews and such, well where do you find out all that information?

I've got a bunch of sources. Simon & Schuster's publisher page, Kate O'Hearn's facebook page, Kate O'Hearn's twitter, her website, bookseller sites (Like Amazon and Barnes & Noble), I make regular checks at these places. But sometimes I miss things. Maybe we could be assigned to different sites, and we'll check there every month or so?

There's another thing, I trust you Alana. I know you wouldn't ruin the group by messing up the discussions, folders, etc.

That's a good idea, I don't have Twitter or Facebook but I can always use my moms fb to check

Then there's Hachette Book Group, Kate O'Hearn's UK publisher. Book Depository. All kinds of places. And just searching the Internet. I'm very thorough. :)

I could do Facebook, since I already have one and am Kate O'Hearn's friend, so I get all her updates. I also have Twitter just for that purpose.

Yes, or I could do the announcing if you want. We could have a moderator page where we'll discuss what we've found out, what sites we're checking, etc. Also if you want to make any changes to the group or remove a member we'll discuss it there or private message each other. The perks of being a co-moderator is that you can change the group's look, remove members, broadcast a message to all members, create folders, and a bunch of other things. But what I need to know is if you'd do all that. Like if you see something that should be changed, you'll post your idea and then do it if you think it's right.

It may seem like a lot but it's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

What websites should I check up on?

Well, you could check bookseller sites (Amazon, Barnes & Noble) and publisher sites (Simon & Schuster, Hachette) while I do social media, author website, and Internet search?

Alana, you need to verify your email address. To verify your email address, go to your "edit profile" page and select the "settings" tab. If your email address isn't verified, you'll see a red message next to it - click "re-send verification email".

It's the right email, it just won't send

Try logging out and then back in again and try again.

I don't know why it won't send, sorry about that but I'll work on it and see what's wrong
