I think I'd like to nominate The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater :D

I'd like to nominate Rosemund Hodge. Cruel Beauty is exquisite. Her imagery is fantastic and her flawed characters leap off the page.

Me too but Cruel Beauty is even better.

This is actually pretty hard because I have 2 books that I want to nominate, both books are by Brandon Sanderson. I was going to nominate Warbreaker, but I think I will nominate Elantris. Brandon Sanderson is amazing with world building. Both books are amazing! Gah! This is hard. I'm so torn.

I was going to nominate The Raven Boys, but I see Rowan beat me to it! I *loved* The Scorpio Races, and I'd love to start this series.

Instead I will nominate The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls by Claire Legrand. This is a creepy middle grade story, the kind I think this author does best. This book is nothing like Winterspell (which I know a lot of people didn't like).
