Arlene♡ (locpressedbooks) | 23 comments Since I have never read an Agatha Christie book, I do have one of her short story collections and that's what I plan on reading for this challenge. I think it will give me a good taste of her writing and will either make it or break it for me.

Kay Michel (mikaila029) | 23 comments I have a collection of Poe's work, so I will attempt reading all three of the short stories listed. They are all included. I was very happy to see that :)
It's been a while since I have actually read anything by Poe. It will be a refresher! I just love the Barnes & Noble editions! Need to get my hands on one!

Oh, and I have never finished an Agatha Christie book. If we are being honest here, I just found them quite dry and boring *I hope I'm not banned for this* ^^;;
Perhaps it's an acquired taste? I'm going to try an audiobook, as Troi mentioned. I want to give it another shot! Especially since Agatha Christie is such a well-known author.

Yes definitely, we can tackle these together! you just let me know when you want to start. This is why I like short stories, it gives me just a taste of what the author is bringing to the table without shelling out too much dough cheese to get it, you know?

Just finished The Mysterious Affair at Styles, my second Agatha Christie read ever. Not a spectacular read for me though I did enjoy it and could not figure out who the killer was. I was surprised that this book wasn't narrated by Poirot as I thought would be going in! Will definitely be reading more in this series in the future.
