Eleanor and Park was such a refreshing read. Not only do you get a lovely romance between two teenagers from different worlds, but Rainbow Rowell also ties in real world conflicts. Eleanor comes from a poor home, with five siblings, an abusive step father, and a submissive mother. Park comes from a nice, white picket fence family where everything seems perfect, but he doesn't feel like he fits in. When these two meet it's like all their misses pieces fit perfectly within one another. Park helps Eleanor realize the happiness in life, and Eleanor helps Park realizes he doesn't need to fit in. This is a story of true love how it should be - lovely and unconditional.

I absolutely loved it, and the most heart wrenching thing was at the end with the note, I love and hate that we get to decide what the three words are. I think we all know what they are, but we don't really concretely KNOW you know?
Right! I just assume it said "i love you", but i hate how he went to prom with someone else and kissed someone else and i was like noooo ur supposed to be loyal
