Hello, my name is Roan Clay, and I have just published my first novel,Concerning a Man, the first in the Arlinga series. Specifically, I classify it as non-magical fantasy. I would appreciate reviews, or just people to read and enjoy it!



Arlinga has been long without a king. The Sheewa, descendants of the royal advisors, live in the High City of Seng Grandt, awaiting one who is worthy to rule. They maintain a library of scrolls, in which they record the cultures, customs and history of the land.

Hunter knows nothing of this, nor of his oldest friend's connection to the city. But the rescue of a slave along the way will soon set them both on a journey that will change the island of Arlinga forever.
