User | 19 comments Hello! :) This week, i read "This Rough Magic" and i kind of enjoyed reading it.

There was a beautiful and magical island, green and gold, with dolphins swimming in the sparkling blue water. However, the island was full of danger and mysteries.
An actress went there for a vacation, and her vacation went far from peaceful. She met a rude, young, man, who seemed to be hiding something.
Then, there was death and other accidents happened!

The story is pretty good but it's not very good, and i give it a 3/5. I recommend it to people who love reading books about mysteries.

Christiana Clara | 18 comments Hello everyone! For this week, I am reading the book called "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Philip K. Dick

I like this book because it is about something which is like in the future. It is about humans having electric pets because so many real animals died. Most people go to Mars to live there unless they have a job to do on Earth.
The main character which is Rick Deckard has to find, identify and kill six androids which have escaped to Mars. Androids are machines which look and sound like humans but clever and dangerous humans. They will be very hard to clear and we will now what is his adventure in this book.

I rate this book 4/5 because it's good but there are somethings i don't like in this book

SECRETbooksHUNTER | 12 comments Hello no one since I bet most of you arent even reading this! Anways The book that i got this week is 'The University Murders'!

So basically as you all know, this book is about murders at a university school.Luckily Only 2 students were murdered and they were both.....GIRLS!

Who would have killed them and why??? It's up to Detective Logan to solve this mystery!(Guess whether Detective Logan is a boy or girl)

I liked this book since i like any book containing mysteries and murders inside...for those of you who are SCARED of violence then dont read this book!

I rate this book 5/5...10/10...21/21......What's 9+10?

KTT Tanjung | 13 comments Hello class! This week I read "Brat Farrar" by Josephine Tey.

I enjoyed reading this book because its plot was very interesting and intriguing. Imagine having your doppelganger living somewhere in this world;someone who looked exactly like you are.
The main character in this book is Brat Farrar. He is a doppelganger of a son from a wealthy family, Patrick Ashby. He is persuaded by Loding to take Patrick's and getting fraction of the wealth by doing it. I didn't really like the ending since it seems that Brat got away with his crime with ease. It should have been a lot more complicated than that.

I rate this book 3/5 because though it has an entertaining story line, doesn't really have an ending that I had expected. I thought Brat would get caught and put into a prison. I would recommend people who enjoy reading crime fiction to read this book.

Hello! The book I got this week was "The Lady in White"
This book is about a man who noticed his wife's new strange behavior, before he found out that from police interview casettes, a man had the same exact story as him. And things then kick of from there.
First of all, for children, this book messes with your head. But of course, being from Cambridge or Oxford, the story's suspense been diluted so i can't exactly call it the next Gillian Flynn or the next Stephen King, since these people write psychological thrillers that I can't even believe is possible. This is why I hate this book since the suspense is almost completely gone and we can't see the gradual buildup (which I think in my opinion is important and very hard to get right)

Story-wise, this book is pretty decent, if you take this in literally. But metaphorically, it has a really deep meaning that usually, authors deliver literally (which I don't really like). Like the game "Fran Bow", this also handles the deeper meaning of hallucinations and psychosis, being mental in general.

To sum it up, I didn't really like the anti-climatic ending since it needed more of a build-up. However, the meaning behind it, if interpreted right, does teach you something about your mind and its limits towards Mental illnesses. Therefore, I'll give this book 3.25-3.5/5 stars (I still did not like this more than "Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep?" hehe)

Sherlyn | 14 comments This week I am reading "The Great Gatsby" I don't really like the book because it's confusing

Chapter1: Nick (the narrator) went to East Egg to have dinner in Tom's house. After the dinner, Nick went outside to talk to Daisy. There is also Jordan in Tom's house, Jordan is a famous golf player.

Chapter2: Nick is travelling to another town with Tom and Tom introduced his mistress to Nick

Chapter3: Nick is in Gatsby's party. Gatsby is a mysterious man that many people haven't met him. In the party, Nick saw Jordan who was in Tom's house in Chapter 1

Chapter4: Gatsby told Nick about his past. Gatsby is the son of a wealthy person who was highly educated. When Tom came to the party, Gatsby was gone. Jordan also told Nick about her past. Gatsby bought the house and throw a party only because of Daisy to come. Daisy is Gatsby's ex-girlfriend.

Chapter5: Nick and Tom planned for Daisy and Gatsby to meet. The plan worked well, Daisy and Gatsby meets again

Chapter6: Nick decided to tell Daisy and Tom about the real Gatsby. His real name is actually James Gatz

Chapter7: Gatsby didn't throw another party rhe next day, however, he fored all if his servants and hired a new one who don't like to gossip much.

Chapter8: Wilson(another character from the story) found out that his wife has an affair with Gatsby. So, Wilson shot Gatsby and himself leaving both of them dead.

Chapter9: In this chapter is only about Gatsby's funeral.
