Russell Gibbs | 20 comments I am seeking honest reviews for my new spirituality self-help book. If you would like to review this book please email me at russellagibbs@msn.com with your format preference. (mobi, epub or paperback)

The Six Principles of Enlightenment and Meaning of Life is a concise 13,000 word spiritual self-help book.

The Six Principles of Enlightenment and Meaning of Life by Russell Anthony Gibbs

All enlightened beings, most founders of religions and many renowned scientists knew and understood the six principles of enlightenment. These universal truths have been written about, taught and discussed for thousands of years and yet remain shrouded in mystery and misinterpretation. This book seeks to remove that shroud by explaining the six significant universal truths woven throughout science, religion and philosophy. These principles draw upon thousands of years of wisdom and are presented in a concise, accessible format. Each principle is defined, explained and supported by quotes from enlightened beings, philosophers, artists and scientists like Buddha, Albert Einstein, Rumi, Stephen Hawking and Jesus. To understand the six principles of enlightenment is to understand the meaning of life.

Author Russell Anthony Gibbs is a philosopher and spiritual seeker on a quest for enlightenment. In writing this book he has researched Bahaism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, Sufism and Taoism. In addition to religion and philosophy, he has incorporated quantum mechanics, physics and psychology and studied the works of Albert Einstein, Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud and Stephen Hawking. Russell’s communication style has been described as “Espresso Wisdom,” consisting of short, strong, rich insight. As the first in a planned 8 book series, it has already amassed a positive following and reached #12 on the Amazon Hot New Releases for Spiritual Self-Help in its first 30 days.

“A wise, encouraging, and potentially life changing book that will fascinate and inform all those seeking spiritual truths and enlightenment.”

May I suggest my books. The Forest of Allund, and The Laughing Gods. A book that is recommended for ages 14 and up. Both books deal with a world similar to Ancient Greece. It is a world undergoing conflict as new barbarian hordes threaten the land. A newly graduated mage come back to his home after the Academy and finds himself embroiled in a world of invasion, violence, danger and political intrigue. He and his human and non-human friends must fight just to survive. Our young mage must learn that despite all the teaching given to him in philosophy, morality, ethics, and behavior, none of it does you any good when someone has you at the point of a sword. Then you must fight, run, or die.

Thomas Ott | 17 comments If you like richly researched and written historical fiction, then you'll going to like "Saturday & The Witch Woman." It is based on a true story of a slave (Saturday) and might have been lost in time, if I had not uncovered it.

Lydia Dean | 5 comments I can recommend you read this book "One Caregiver’s Journey by Eleanor Gaccetta". This book heartfully captures the moments between caregiver and patient, between daughter and mother. It is also an insightful book that digs deeper into caregiving and provides practical suggestions that anyone can use to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their loved one.

May I suggest these books for fantasy reading.

Forest of Allund cover

In this first book, Alexio Sopholus return home after ten years away at the Academy. When he returns, he soon finds his lands under attack by barbarians bent on domination of the kingdom. With the help of his large animal friends and others, he manages to initially fight off the invaders, but draws the suspicions and fears of his own leaders. Faced with death, destruction, and betrayal all around him, Alexio is forced to conclude that all the morality, philosophy, ethics, and behavior taught to him in school are all but useless when someone has you at the point of a sword. Then you must either fight, run, or die. Alexio wages war. It will be a war without pity, mercy, and against the laws of both gods and men. It will result in Alexio finding himself an outcast in his own land.

The Laughing Gods cover

In the second book, Alexio and his wife still find themselves in danger from the barbarians and his own leaders. After an assassination attempt, a bold move by the barbarians put the entire kingdom in danger. Alexio and a small party of friends must travel to a foreign kingdom to ask aid from an unreliable source. Discovering an even more insidious plot against them, Alexio and a small group of mages must flee for their lives. When they return, they find their kingdom in shambles, the Brotherhood of Mages in tatters, and an imminent treat from the barbarians to sweep all of them aside. Alexio must find a way to save his kingdom, the Brotherhood of Mages, his family, and his friends before they are all consumed in the increasing maelstrom.
