All Quiet on the Western Front was an outstanding war novel. It was all about how being in World War I would actually be like in the perspective of a soldier named Paul. It is a pretty descriptive novel just in some areas it seems to skip a few things that could've been important. The novel shows how being at the front line is, going on leave, sneaking to go hang with certain people, how the food plan works and more. People that are into war would most definitely love to read this novel, even people that like gruesome stories or like novels that are historically based. would most defiantly recommend this novel.
