The 5th wave rp discussion

.more than one person can be in the rp, just thought I had to tell you guys bc I've been doing it all xD

Raven walked across kicking the leaves with her feet.

Riley gets up, rifle in hand and slowly gets out of his tent with caution planning on finding more supplies today. He leaves his little sister, laney, to sleep. He checks out around the site and checks rabbit traps. Finding nothing. He sighs as he goes to wake up his sister to go to the abandon convenience store they stumbled upon days ago when they almost starved. His sister was dying of the bird plague as he called it, not yet advanced stages. But close, maybe she'd be like him, making a surprising recovery just when you thought you were gonna die. But he knows he probably won't have that much luck.

He gently shakes his sister. "Laney, you can't stay here alone." He wants to add 'in your condidtion' but laney gets emotional about the sickness, so he adds nothing.

Laney opens her eyes, they're clouded a bit with blood, she wipes her eyes with her wrist and bites her lip not to cry. She knows she probably won't live. She was brought up to believe in Christ, but why did he not stop the others? She sniffs and slowly gets up. "Can I have a piggy back ride there?" She manages to squeak, rarely being able to walk without falling down at random points. After she sees him nod she wraps her arms around him as he pulls her up and lies her head on his shoulder. She felt him start walking then fell asleep once again, hoping she would wake up.

When Riley walked back he heard a rustle and his reflexes took in, he aimed toward the sound and shot, caught a man right below his neck, not quite near enough to his heart to call it that, he walked up to the man confident that no one would be with him. People travelled alone. Unless they were at a refugee camp, in which they wouldn't be travelling. He looked at the man. He had a pistol in his hand. Riley grimaced taking it out of the mans slowly cooling hands. He gets worried about laney not waking up at the bullet he fired so after inspection of around the camp he finds nothing and lays her down in the tent he noticed her bleeding slightly, he shakes her gently to wake her up. She didn't respond he shook her a bit harder, with still no response he then checks her pulse, still there but very slow. He feels tears well up in his eyes, he wipes away blood from her eyes and nose and the bit on her lip. She's cold so he covers her up and it is once again dark. He lies next to her last night again in a place inbetween awake and asleep he hardly will ever get a good rest he doubts.

Aiya climbs down from the tree she had slept in the night before, sore. Her pistol in her waistband. She quietly lands on the ground, careful not to spark attention. She stays on the move at all times in fear that the drones may see her. She pulls out her pistol, mainly for security and starts walking a little. She needs to find water somewhere... And food she's starved and parched. She keeps quietly navigating through the woods.

Ashley was walking around in the forest when she saw another girl. She looked at her cautiously, checking if she was an other. She winced as she saw an image in her mind. Stephanie. She had died from the illness less than a week ago, and Ashley still remembered he last words. She looked into her backpack. She had: A half-full water bottle, a few packets of food, a knife, a small blanket, and some rope. She thought of some way to make use of the stuff. Nothing came to her. She looked again at the girl. She looked starving, tired and thirsty; not like an other at all. She thought of Otis. How many days ago was it when she had killed him? She still saw the pain in his eyes as she took the knife out of his neck. But she had to remember: He was not human then. He was an other. She stepped slowly towards the girl......

Silver walked and sat against a tree. I just need a break she thought.

Aiya sees movement out of the corner of her eye, she quickly turns and trains her fun on the girl, looking for a gun in the other girls hand, she flips her head a little trying to get her red hair out of her blue eyes, she stands still debating on weather to kill the girl or not.

Riley wakes up to snoring, he frowns and looks over at laney, to see if she was gone. He learned as he looked over that was not the case. In fact laney was looking pretty normal other than some dried blood under an eye and in her ears. He shook her gently and she opened her eyes slowly


Laney was confused when she woke up, she actually felt a little better. That wasn't supposed to happen with the disease? She swiped at her eyes and dry blood came away, but no new blood. She suddenly felt hopeful, she smiled slightly as she sat up. "Good morning." She smiled at her brother

Aiya narrows her eyes. "What weapons do you have?" She asks the girl that was creeping up on her. Know well that she could lie.

" Why are you asking?" Ashley asked. The girl was expecting her to lie, probably.

She shrugs. "Well I don't see a gun in your hand or bulge in your waistband, so I'm gonna go with its in your bag. If you were an other you would have it in hand. Or maybe you are one trying to confuse me. But I'm going crazy not talking to anyone so..." She trails off then snaps back to focus. "But don't make a move I have a seriously good aim so if I were you id stay there."

Riley thought he might cry of happiness, he was pretty sure she was getting better, he hugged her, and if he could he would have picked her off her feet and twirled her, but you know...in a tent.


Laney grins back at him, "guess your not the only lucky bastard in this family huh?" She normally wouldn't ever come close to cussing before the first wave, but now she didn't have much to lose. And she suspects he feels the same, in spite of his laughing.

Raven looks around and frowns, " wow. this is alot of damage" she says to herself climbing up a tree and placing her bag there. " might as well do some sightseeing" she muttered to herself looking from above

Riley gets out of the tent with laney "let's go check the rabbit traps." He says. She's still a little shaky, but it's not as if she would heal overnight, he puts an arm around her to steady her as the silently navigate their way to one of their traps.

Raven jumps off and smirks, " well at least there are no people" she says

Riley is very paranoid about people, he keeps checking around him. They get to the trap and he grins, "guess today is just our lucky day huh, laney?" He asks her.

"Yeah, I guess so." Laney grins up at him. She loved her older brother and hopes that if she lives that she wants him to live too. He's so smart she's not sure what she would do without him...

Riley hears a noise and turns, a girl, was standing beside a tree he turns to laney, "go back to the tent. Now." He tells her giving her a knife. After she leaves he walks up to the girl with his rifle up, "what weapons do you have?" He asks her from behind her after he had snuck up on her.

She snorted, " As if i`d tell you" she said " Don't ya think it`s rude, to suddenly walk up to someone with a rifle and ask them what weapons they have>" she said walking ahead not caring about his threat

Silver stood up and watched the commotion from a safe distance away.

Riley raises his eyebrows. "You know your not really taking any suspicion away from yourself. I just need to know you aren't an other, and that you won't kill me or my... Hidden accomplice." He says not willing to give away their family status, or camp site for that matter.

Silver shrugged and walked away.

Raven just glared, " heyy, get the fu**k away from, me and i`ll stay away from you. kay?" she said walking away, once again

Riley backs away with his gun trained on him. He was wary of the girl, once she was out of sight and he got back to the tent. "Laney c'mon, we gotta move to a different area. People are around here and... I don't trust them, c'mon." He starts packing up and waiting for laneys reply.

Laney was in a tree she had climbed, once her brother got back she came down. He told her they had to go, they packed everything up and moved about two miles farther into the woods, having to shoot at three packs of wild dog, one of which they're pretty sure was rabid. They set up after checking the clearing. Laney was tired by then still pretty sick. She fell asleep.

Raven cursed under her breath when she tripped and her fell on her knees. her left knee glazed with pain" fuck!" she scremed
