Day one*Charlie*
“Peter! Charlie!” the panicked voice of my mother was the only reason I bothered to move. Slowly I stumbled down the stairs like a drunk. I hadn’t slept well that night, in my opinion there was an uneasy sort of aura in the air; like the calm before the storm.
“What mom?” I grumbled, like the typical teen I am.
“Look.” she pointed a shaky finger at the small TV screen we kept in the kitchen my older brother Peter was already staring at it. The news was on, why would she wake me up for this?
It’s finally here; the day we've been dreading. The world has finally given up on us. The ozone is down. We have no protection from the sun.
“Mom what is this?” My voice was shaky,
“It’s on every channel. This is no joke.” Pete stated firmly. The broadcast continued.
Everyone has been advised to stay inside for the sun’s rays will burn you straight away. In addition scientists believe that the sun is expanding and edging closer to the Earth making the atmosphere even hotter.
“Oh my God...” Mom grabbed both of our shoulders in a sort of hug.
It followed a sort of death, destruction and the end of humanity theme until the end of the report when the guy looked up from his desk with tears in his eyes,
And one more thing if you’re watching this Cassie, Ruby Daddy can’t come home yet you probably don't understand what’s going on but-
I turned it off.
“Well it’s a good thing we installed those solar panels last week.”
“Not funny Pete.” I went back to bed maybe this was a bad dream. Maybe not.
Wow this is really good! You're an amazing writer Aurora :)

The only story description I have is:
It's the end of the world, I would say everything's crashed and burned, but really its just burned...
