John Robin (john_robin) | 299 comments I would like to start a mastermind group on Slack and am looking for interested participants. What I'd like to do is bring in the most active and engaged authors in the Inkshares author community so that we can engage in focused topics relating to promotion and, through sharing our collective endeavors, become accountable and learn from each other. Imagine this group as a natural extension of what we are already doing here, but with more focus and interaction allowing for deeper and more dynamic sharing.

For those who aren't familiar with Slack, it is an app that runs on your computer or your phone and allows conversations to be organized into topic channels. This way, as we engage in discussion, should sub-topics evolve we move them to a channel, allowing our conversations to split into streams over time based on what we gravitate towards. Slack uses smart notifications to let you know when you've been tagged in a discussion, and you can pop in whenever you want.

I will create several initial channels to allow for organized discussion, i.e. each person will have their own channel to update anything related to their progress, and there will be other obvious channels such as "finding readers" and "project page improvements", etc.

I'd like this group to be comprised of the most intimate and interactive collaborators here in the community so I will be approaching a few people I already have in mine. However, I'd like to put this here so that anyone interested can apply.

Here is what I need:

Send me an email at johnrobinrt@gmail.com outlining:

-your promotional strategy and what you've been doing so far
-links to and description of your platform
-how being part of a mastermind collaboration discussion would benefit you and those in the group
-how active you've been in the Inkshares and/or other author communities

As much as I'd like to open this group to everyone, the reality is that Slack can only accommodate so many people before it becomes unruly. So for that reason I'd like to fill this group with the most active and involved participants, and most importantly, those who would get the most out of it through giving of themselves for the benefit of this collaboration.

I'll look forward to your applications!
